  • Publication number: 20050200692
Abstract: A stencil printer of the present invention includes a print drum and a pressing member selectively movable into or out of contact with the print drum. A duplex master, formed with a first and a second image in the lengthwise direction thereof, or a simplex master formed with a third image is wrapped around the print drum in a duplex mode or a simplex mode, respectively. The stencil printer is capable of selectively performing a duplex print mode operation, which consists of a front printing step and a rear pining step following the front printing step, or a simplex print mode operation. When the operator of the printer selects the duplex print mode to cause the duplex master to be wrapped around the print drum and then replaces the duplex print mode with the simplex print mode, the stencil printer produces an alarm and inhibits the simplex pint mode operation from being started.

  • Patent number: 6931341
Abstract: An apparatus that automatically adjusts self-noise and can lower the lower limit value of a measurement range by reducing the effects of self-noise on measured values. This apparatus corrects self-noise when amplifying an output signal from a sensor so as to conform to a sensor sensitivity G, further processing the amplified signal, and then outputting the processed signal as a measured value. This apparatus includes a sensor sensitivity adjusting circuit that adjusts an amplification factor so as to conform to the sensor sensitivity G, a self-noise value calculating circuit 4 that calculates a self-noise component F·N from the amplification factor adjusted by the sensor sensitivity adjusting circuit so as to conform to the sensor sensitivity G, and a measured value correcting circuit that calculates a true measured value F·S from the self-noise component F·N calculated by the self-noise value calculating circuit 4 as well as a measured value L containing the self-noise component F·N.

  • Publication number: 20040250716
Abstract: A stencil printer of the present invention includes a print drum implemented as a porous hollow cylinder rotatably supported and configured such that a perforated stencil is wrapped therearound. A pressing device forms a pressing portion when pressed against the print drum. A feeding device feeds a sheet toward the pressing portion. A registration roller pair conveys the sheet toward said pressing portion at preselected timing. One roller of the registration roller pair expected to contact, when the sheet carrying an image on its one surface is reversed and again fed by said feeding device, the one surface first is provided with a highly oil-repellent surface configuration.

  • Patent number: 6792853
Abstract: A stencil printer of the present invention includes a print drum for wrapping a master therearound, a master making and conveying section for perforating a stencil paid out from a stencil roll while conveying it to thereby produce the master, a master stocking section for stocking the master being conveyed by the master making and conveying section, and a roller pair for conveying the master out of the master stocking section. A movable master guide selectively guides the stencil paid out from the stencil roll to the master stocking section or the roller pair. A stretching member adjoins the print drum and is movable between a contact position where it contacts the stencil present on the print drum to thereby exert a stretching force on the master and a released position where the former is released from the latter. The stretching member and movable master guide are interlocked to each other.

  • Patent number: 6471155
Abstract: A method and an apparatus of winding a wire for a stator core in which, in order to wind a wire on a plurality of poles provided along an outer periphery of a stator core, a tension acting on the wire during the time when the wire between a pole on which the wire is wound and a wire support passes on each of side formers is made lower than a tension acting on the wire from the time when the wire between the pole on which the wire is to be wound and the wire support has passed on one of the side formers to the time when the wire starts to come into contact with the other thereof. Therefore, even a relatively thick wire can be wound while being prevented from getting bend marks, whereby a quality as a stator can be improved.

  • Patent number: 5953985
Abstract: In a stencil printer including a rotatable drum for wrapping a perforated stencil or master therearound, a pair o f inclined tension rollers are movable into and out of contact with the drum in order to smooth a creased master. The distance between the tension rollers sequentially increases from the upstream side toward the downstream side with respect to an intended direction of master transport. While the master is sequentially wrapped around the drum, the tension rollers pull the opposite side edges of the master outward. At the same time, the elastic member presses the intermediate portion of the master. The tension rollers and elastic member cooperate to smooth the master. The elastic member is located at a position not closer to the drum than a position around a line connecting the points of the tension rollers contacting the master, and where it can contact the intermediate portion of the master.

  • Patent number: 5907391
Abstract: When an order for photographic processing is placed from the customer, an operator, first, operates a keyboard to input the type of photographic processing ordered by the customer. Then, the operator causes a card reader to read customer identification information recorded on a card, and causes a bar code reader to read a bar code recorded on a cartridge and representing film information, and further, causes a film-data reading device to read film information magnetically recorded on the film. Further, when an order for extra prints is placed from the customer, the operator loads a print order slip on which information for extra prints is recorded, into a loading portion so that the information recorded on the print order slip is read by a mark-sheet reader. As a result, the information required for issuing order forms is obtained, and three sheets of order form for a customer, laboratory, and photo processing shop, are issued by a printer.

  • Patent number: 5662040
Abstract: In a stencil printer, a drum has the outer periphery thereof formed by a porous sheet having passages for ink therein. The passages are each configured such that the ink entered an inlet pore is diverted from a single perpendicular to the drum at least once, and then flows out via at least one of outlet pores. The pores of the sheet are sized smaller than perforations to be formed in a stencil.

  • Patent number: 5335274
Abstract: An improved extendible telephone having a main casing incorporating a receiver and an auxiliary casing incorporating a transmitter and dial keys and slidably mounted on the main casing. Guide grooves are formed in each of the slide surface of the main casing and a back plate which is fastened to the auxiliary casing. Rail members are fitted in the slide surface of the main casing. The auxiliary casing is slidable along the rail members toward and away from an extended position while being guided by the guide grooves. The rail members each has an angled lug while the back plate is formed with two spaced pairs of angled recesses. When the auxiliary casing is slid to the extended position or a contracted position, the angled lugs selectively mate with either of the two pairs of angled recesses to lock the auxiliary casing in position.

  • Patent number: 4917205
Abstract: A four-wheel steering system of a vehicle includes a power steering device for steering the front wheels, an oil pressure pump for generating an oil pressure in accordance with a travel speed of the vehicle, and a hydraulic actuator for steering the rear wheels. A first control valve is provided between the pump and the actuator so as to operate upon reception of the oil pressure from the power steering device. This valve introduces the oil pressure from the pump to the actuator in accordance with the oil pressure from the power steering device so that the actuator steers the rear wheels in the same direction as the front wheels. A second control valve is provided between the power steering device and the actuator so as to operate in accordance with the oil pressure from the power steering device.
