  • Patent number: 5500712
Abstract: A negative detection device comprising the likes of a CCD camera and line sensors is incorporated in a 3D photographic printing apparatus in which a lenticular sheet is used. The negative detection device measures the positional shift of the key subject of the 2D negative. If the key subject shift exceeds a predetermined threshold value, a correction is introduced to regulate the spacial parallax of a background object. If the key subject shift is less than a predetermined threshold value a correction is introduced to regulate the spacial parallax of a foreground object. Exposure is performed after positional adjustments are made.

  • Patent number: 5266012
Abstract: A vibrating column pump pumps liquid by making use of liquid vibration generated at the time when the vibrating pipe is vibrated in a longitudinal direction thereof. The vibrating column pump comprises a vibrating pipe for pumping liquid therethrough, flexible pipes for connecting both ends of the vibrating pipe with a stationary suction pipe and a stationary outlet pipe, vibrating means for vibrating the vibrating pipe in a longitudinal direction thereof, and retainer means for removably retaining the vibrating pipe in such a manner that the vibrating pipe is removably connected to the vibrating means. The liquid contacting unit including the vibrating pipe and the flexible pipes is separated from the vibrating means so that the liquid contacting unit is disposable and can be easily replaced with a new one.

  • Patent number: 5231939
Abstract: This invention relates to an in-ash unburned component estimating device for a coal-fired furnace which monitors the density of in-ash unburned component contained in burning waste gases to operate the furnace efficiently. The object of the invention is to infer and estimate from the current situation by a simple means the density of in-ash unburned component in the burning exhaust gases that affects the combustion efficiency. A furnace temperature, a load band in the furnace, a furnace contamination coefficient, a ratio of two-stage combustion air supplied to the furnace, and a coal mixture ratio are taken in as fuzzy quantities to infer fuel ratio data and correction data used to correct predetermined reference values of reference in-furnace temperature distribution, reference in-furnace air ratio distribution and reference powdered coal grain diameter distribution.

  • Patent number: 5171944
Abstract: A pressure pulsation absorbing device adapted to be connected between a pair of piping flanges includes a cup-shaped silencer box having a central inner bore for fluid flow therethrough, and a plurality of water stop bosses integrally formed with the silencer box around the inner bore and through which piping bolts are to be inserted. An elastic cylindrical body is provided in the silencer box around the water stop bosses to thereby divide the inside space of the silencer box into a radially inward fluid flow section and a radially outward dry section. A plurality of threaded bosses are integrally formed with the silencer box in the dry section for receiving bolts for fixing a side plate covering a side opening in the dry section. A slight clearance is provided respectively between outer surfaces of the water stop bosses and an inner circumference of the cylindrical body, and between outer surfaces of the threaded bosses and an outer periphery of the cylindrical body.

  • Patent number: 5158024
Abstract: This invention relates to a combustion control apparatus for a powdered coal-fired furnace that monitors noxious substances contained within the burning waste gases, unburned substances within the ash and the power data of a pulverizing mill in order to operate the combustion furnace safely and efficiently. The combustion control apparatus infers from the current states or data optimal control amounts that will maintain within the minimum allowable ranges the noxious nitrogen oxides and the in-ash unburned substances that affect the combustion efficiency-and thereby controls the combustion furnace with good stability. The combustion control apparatus qualitatively evaluates as fuzzy quantities the density data of the nitrogen oxides contained within the exhaust gases of the unburned substances contained within the ash, and the power data of the pulverizing mill.
