Publication number: 20050161012Abstract: A four stroke engine has a camshaft driven by a crankshaft. A decompression member is disposed on the camshaft. The decompression member is movable between a decompression position and a non-decompression position. A portion of the decompression member generally places the valve at an open position when the decompression member is placed at the decompression position and releases the valve from the open position when the decompression member is placed at the non-decompression position. A regulating member is disposed on the camshaft. The regulating member regulates the decompression member to prevent movement of decompression member from the decompression position when the regulating member is placed at a first position. The regulating member releases the decompression member from the decompression position when the regulating member is placed at a second position. A bias member is arranged to urge the regulating member toward the first position.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 24, 2005Publication date: July 28, 2005Inventors: Kazuyuki Maeda, Tomoki Kaneshiro

Publication number: 20040251814Abstract: The invention provides an electroluminescent display device using a white organic EL layer and color filter layers where color purity of a panel is properly secured. Film thicknesses or pigment concentrations of R, G, and B color filter layers are adjusted so that transmittances of the R, G, and B color filter layers become 50% or less for light outside a predetermined wavelength range. By narrowing the predetermined wavelength range more, spectral characteristics of each of R, G, and B colors can be improved. Therefore, the color purity of the panel can be secured even when using the white organic EL layer.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 16, 2004Publication date: December 16, 2004Applicant: Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd.Inventors: Ryuji Nishikawa, Kazuyuki Maeda

Publication number: 20040207570Abstract: The invention provides an electroluminescent display device in which purity of R, G, and B colors is prevented from lowering by minimizing white light leakage and color mixture caused by an escape of light to an outside of a color filter layer. An organic EL element driving TFT is formed on an insulating substrate. A first planarization insulating film is formed so as to cover the organic EL element driving TFT. A color filter layer is buried in the first planarization insulating film. An anode layer is connected with the organic EL element driving TFT and extends over the first planarization insulating film. A second planarization insulating film is formed so as to cover end portions of the anode layer. Here, a length of an overlapping area of the color filter layer and the second planarization insulating film is set larger than a sum of thicknesses of the anode layer and the first planarization insulating film.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 16, 2004Publication date: October 21, 2004Applicant: Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd.Inventors: Ryuji Nishikawa, Kazuyuki Maeda

Publication number: 20040207321Abstract: The invention is directed to an electroluminescent display device in which a first planarization insulating film need not be used so that a manufacturing cost reduces, and a display defect caused by a cut in an organic EL layer or moisture absorption at a step portion is prevented. An R color filter layer, a G color filter layer, and a B color filter layer are so formed that end portions of the adjacent R, G, and B color filter layers overlap each other. The R color filter layer, the G color filter layer, and the B color filter layer serve as a first planarization insulating film. For planarization, the end portions of the color filter layers overlap each other. For reducing a step height of an overlapping portion, the end portions of the color filters are formed in a tapered shape.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 16, 2004Publication date: October 21, 2004Applicant: Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd.Inventors: Ryuji Nishikawa, Kazuyuki Maeda

Publication number: 20040119766Abstract: The present invention makes it possible to print a good quality image even if ink is ejected abnormally from a nozzle. To attain this, when there is an abnormal nozzle (N) exhibiting an abnormal ink ejection state, the printing data corresponding to the abnormal nozzle (N) is added to the printing data corresponding to neighboring nozzles (N−1) and (N+1) arranged in the neighborhood of the abnormal nozzle (N). In this way, the printing data corresponding to the abnormal nozzle (N) can be compensated.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 22, 2003Publication date: June 24, 2004Applicant: Canon Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Tsuyoshi Shibata, Kazuyuki Maeda, Hitoshi Tsuboi

Publication number: 20040046901Abstract: In a liquid crystal display having liquid crystal sealed between first and second substrates opposing one another, the first substrate is provided with data lines (56) formed overlapping pixel electrodes (58). By forming color filters (1) in a layer between the data lines (56) and the pixel electrodes (58), the distance between the data lines (56) and the pixel electrodes (58) is increased, reducing parasitic capacitance generated therebetween. Effective voltage application to the pixel electrodes (58) is thereby accomplished, allowing increase in contrast. No decrease in transmittance is caused because the thickness of the planarizing film (2) is not increased.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 26, 2003Publication date: March 11, 2004Applicant: Sanyo Electric Co., LTD.Inventors: Hideki Matsuoka, Kazuyuki Maeda, Susumu Oima

Publication number: 20020192576Abstract: After a gate line (11), a TFT (1), and a data line (30) are formed, a riblike protective insulation layer (32) which coats the data line is formed on a substrate (10) serving as the element substrate of an active matrix type color liquid crystal display device or an organic EL display device. A color filter layer (42) on a transfer film (40) is press-bonded on this substrate (10) with a roller (46) moving in the extensional direction (columnar direction) of the protecting insulation layer (32). The advancement of the transfer of a color filter in the columnar direction makes it possible to bring the substrate and the color filter in contact without gaps while expelling the gas out of a pixel space in the advancement direction. During the step of forming a color filter, the protecting insulation layer (32) protects the data line (30) from the treatment liquid etc. An organic light emitting element layer is arranged in the pixel space to form an organic EL display device.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 11, 2002Publication date: December 19, 2002Inventors: Hideki Matsuoka, Kazuyuki Maeda

Publication number: 20020063836Abstract: A display panel body (110) is formed with a thermosetting seal material disposed in an outer peripheral region of a display area between a pair of substrates (10), and a thermally conductive buffer plate (300) is disposed on the side of the display panel body (110) opposite to the side where the substrates face each other. The buffer plate (300) is aligned such that an opening (302) therein overlaps each display area, and such that a lattice member (301) thereof overlaps the region where the seal material is disposed. The panel body (110) is pressed and heated from outside through the buffer plate (300), thereby heating and curing the thermosetting seal material. Because the display area overlaps the opening of the buffer plate, pressing of this area when the seal is cured can be prevented, thereby preventing the substrate from flexing at the display area of the display panel 110 provided with no spacers.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 26, 2001Publication date: May 30, 2002Applicant: SANYO ELECTRIC CO., LTD.Inventors: Norio Oku, Hideki Matsuoka, Kazuyuki Maeda
