  • Patent number: 10081480
Abstract: An oxygen-absorbing container includes a container body having a multilayer structure constituted by an innermost layer, an outermost layer and an intermediate layer therebetween, the container body having an opening part on an upper part thereof; and a sealing member bonded to an upper end surface of the opening part of the container body to seal an opening of the opening part. The innermost layer and the intermediate layer are bent outward at an upper end of the opening part and form a flat part and a surface of the flat part forms the upper end surface of the opening part. When the sealing member is unsealed, part of the innermost layer on the upper end surface of the opening part is configured to be peeled off so as to leave an unsealed mark.

  • Patent number: 6495096
Abstract: A deodorant, for substances containing hydrogen sulfide or mercaptans, which includes a combination of a peroxide and a nitrate ion, a combination of a peroxide, a nitrate ion and a metal salt, or a combination of a chelating agent and one of the above combinations, and a process for deodorization comprising treating a substance for treatment, containing hydrogen sulfide or mercaptans, with the above deodorant. Smell caused by hydrogen sulfide or mercaptans is effectively removed by the deodorant. Smell from waste water, sludge, and water discharged from washing apparatuses can be efficiently removed with use of the deodorant in a small amount in accordance with this process.

  • Patent number: 5399333
Abstract: A process for producing hydrogen peroxide by subjecting a working solution containing anthraquinones as the reaction medium, to reduction and oxidation alternately, which process is characterized in that (1) the anthraquinones as the reaction medium contained in the working solution are a mixture of an alkyl-substituted anthraquinone and an alkyl-substituted tetrahydroanthraquinone, (2) in the reduction step, the total amount of the alkyl-substituted tetrahydroanthraquinone in the working solution and part or the total amount of the alkyl-substituted anthraquinone in the working solution are reduced, and (3) in the working solution after the reduction step, the content of the alkyl-substituted anthrahydroquinone formed is kept higher than the content of the alkyl-substituted tetrahydroanthrahydroquinone formed.

  • Patent number: H1787
Abstract: A regeneration method of a working solution is herein disclosed in which various by-products which do not participate in the production of hydrogen peroxide and which are present in the working solution in a hydrogen peroxide production process utilizing an anthraquinone method can efficiently be converted into anthraquinones effective as reaction media for the production of hydrogen peroxide. The present invention is concerned with (1) a regeneration method of a working solution wherein at least a part of the unreduced working solution is brought into contact with a catalyst mainly comprising a .gamma.-alumina at a temperature of 40 to 150.degree. C., and (2) another regeneration method of a working solution wherein the working solution is brought into contact with a catalyst mainly comprising a .gamma.-alumina at a temperature of 20 to 150.degree. C.
