  • Patent number: 8253021
Abstract: Motors 1 and 2 are electrically connected to inverters 3 and 4 by a motor cable device 5 including connection/interference regulating member 8 which is installed at a predetermined position in a longitudinal direction of cable bodies 6 and 7. If in this connection state the motors 1 and 2 are driven or a vehicle is driven, vibration or impact is transferred to the motor cable device 5 from the motors 1 and 2 or the exterior, and thus the cable bodies 6 and 7 swing in an arrow direction. The swing contributes to the absorption of the vibration or the like.

  • Patent number: 7445529
Abstract: A connector structure that can ensure connection is provided. In the connector structure, a bus bar and a plate-like terminal mate with each other to establish an electric connection. A lower-side inner surface as a first inner surface defining the opening is provided with a plurality of conductive rotary members that rotate in a direction substantially perpendicular to a direction in which the plate-like terminal is inserted. It is also provided with a frame member that holds the rotary members and that is connected to the bus bar. The rotary members are twisted relative to the frame member and thereby biased relative to the plate-like terminal. By the plate-like terminal being inserted into and pulled out from the bus bar, the rotary members receive force from the plate-like terminal and rotate within a plane substantially perpendicular to a direction in which the plate-like terminal is inserted and pulled out.

  • Patent number: 7406764
Abstract: A method of determining the acceptability of a press contact of a wire between press contact blades of a terminal. The method includes the steps of storing a reference data of a relationship between displacements of the press contact blades when the wire is brought into press contact with a normal press contact terminal and contact loads between the press contact blades and the core wire; inserting the wire between the press contact blades of the press contact terminal as an object to be inspected; measuring the displacement of the press contact blades caused by the insertion of the wire; and determining the acceptability of the press contact terminal as the object to be inspected by predicting the contact loads between the press contact blades of the press contact terminal as the object to be inspected based on the measured displacements and the reference data.

  • Publication number: 20060169742
Abstract: A conductive portion of a wire, composed of a plurality of core wires, is inserted and fitted into a groove in a pressing die, thereby restricting the conductive portion to a bonding width of a terminal, and in this condition with the use of a press forming machine, the conductive portion is pressed in a thickness direction thereof to be formed into a flat shape. Thereafter, the conductive portion is inserted and fitted into the terminal, and then the conductive portion, while pressed by a pressing vibration horn, is bonded to the terminal by ultrasonic vibrations applied from the pressing vibration horn.

  • Patent number: 6942529
Abstract: A press-clamping terminal of the invention is press-fastened at its conductor-clamping portion on an outer periphery of a conductor part of a wire so as to be electrically connected to the conductor part. A plating layer is formed at least on an inner surface of the conductor-clamping portion for contact with the conductor part, the plating layer being harder than a passivation layer formed on a surface of the conductor part, and being excellent in electrical conductivity. With this construction, the hard plating layer fractures the passivation layer upon press-fastening of the conductor-clamping portion on the conductor part of the wire, thereby providing the good press-clamping condition in which any passivation layer, increasing the contact resistance, is not interposed between the press-clamping terminal and the conductor part.
