  • Publication number: 20090191362
Abstract: An optical film has a film a formed of a cyclic olefin resin, and a homeotropically orientated optical anisotropic layer b disposed on the film a. This optical film preferably satisfies the below listed formulae (1) to (3). ?600nm?Rth?200nm??(1) 0nm?R?600nm??(2) NZ?1??(3) (In formulae (1) to (3), Rth indicates the retardation in the thickness direction of the optical film at a wavelength of 550 nm; R indicates the in-plane retardation of the optical film at a wavelength of 550 nm; and NZ indicates (nx?nz)/(nx?ny)). When the optical film is used in an ISP mode liquid crystal display device, light leakage and color fading (discoloration) during black display are prevented stably for a long term, and a good viewing angle compensation effect is obtained (i.e., high contrast ratio at all angles).

  • Publication number: 20090097755
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes an acquiring portion, a deciding portion, a controlling portion, a determining portion, and a transmitting portion. The acquiring portion acquires attribute information of an object. The deciding portion decides identification information of a user accessible to the object, based on a database associated with attribute information of each object and identification information of a user accessible to each object, and the acquired attribute information. The controlling portion decides a capture area including the object, and causes a projecting device to project a capture area. The determining portion determines whether a user of a remote terminal is accessible to the object based on identification information from the remote terminal and the decided identification information. The transmitting portion transmits a captured image of the decided capture area to the remote terminal when the user of the remote terminal is accessible to the object.

  • Patent number: 7350140
Abstract: In a meeting held with employment of a plurality of materials, conditions of this meeting are recorded in the form of continuous data, and these materials are distributed to a user P who participates in this meeting by way of a printed matter and/or a screen output. Then, an analyzing unit analyzes the recorded continuous data so as to specify both a material and a place of the continuous data where this material was used. Also, an annotation/material relating unit specifies both an annotation which was added to a distributed material by the user in the meeting and this distributed material. A material matching unit judges a matching characteristic between these specified material and distributed materials. Then, are relating unit links the place of the continuous data where the material having the matching characteristic was employed with respect to the annotation of the distributed material.

  • Publication number: 20080069950
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a ceramic porous membrane on inner wall surfaces of through holes of a porous base member. The through holes of the base member are arranged in a vertical direction, a ceramic sol liquid having a temperature difference of 50° C. or less between the sol liquid and the base member is supplied to the inner wall surface of the base member, the liquid supply is stopped when the sol liquid exceeds an upper end portion of the base member, and then the sol liquid is extracted from the bottom of the base member. After the sol liquid is completely extracted, a pressure difference is created so that a pressure on the side of an outer peripheral surface of the base member is lower than that on the side of the inner wall surface of the base member.

  • Patent number: RE39811
Abstract: There is generated a rhythm corresponding to a designated tempo and meter of a music piece to be recorded. Performance of a musical instrument is started at specific timing according to the generated rhythm, and the musical information resulting from the performance is recorded onto an MD (Mini Disk). The address on the MD read out when the performance of the music piece is started is retrieved as a start address of the music piece. After the recording, the retrieved start address is recorded onto the UTOC (User's-table-of-contents) area of the disk along with the designated tempo and meter. By reading out the start address, tempo and meter to calculate a measure number and start address of a desired measure on the basis of the read out information, display of a measure number being currently reproduced and quick access to the starting point of any desired measure can be achieved.
