  • Patent number: 11035876
Abstract: Provided is a sensor that is highly accurate while ensuring reduced power consumption. A sensor is an electronic circuit that includes a sensor element, an analog filter, an A/D converter, and first and second electronic circuit. The analog filter filters a waveform that includes a sensor signal from the sensor element and noise based on a servo signal. The A/D converter converts the waveform filtered by the analog filter into a first digital signal. The first electronic circuit includes a digital filter and acquires a second digital signal by performing signal processing including at least a filtering process on the servo signal by using the digital filter. The second electronic circuit acquires a third digital signal by subtracting the second digital signal from the first digital signal. A setting for the signal processing for acquiring the second digital signal is changed on the basis of the third digital signal.

  • Patent number: 4737707
Abstract: A humidity sensing portion (7) and an electrode (9) of a heating regeneration type humidity sensor provided with a heater (8) are covered by a casing (12) and a holding portion (11). An opening (6) for communication between placing the interior and exterior of the sensor in communication is formed in the casing (12) or the holding portion (11) so that a solid angle, of a vertex at the central portion of the humidity sensing portion (7) or the casing (12) of a polyhedron having a base bounded by the opening is within the range of 1/1000-1/10 radian, and thus, adhesion of harmful substances, especially inorganic harmful substances, onto the humidity sensing portion (7) or the electrode (9) is prevented.

  • Patent number: 4401884
Abstract: A method of controlling the application of heat in a food heating apparatus comprising a first heating-control mode such that the heat is applied to an object to be heated until an infrared detecting device detects that a surface temperature of the object has reached at least one predetermined temperature. A second heating-control mode effects at least one of the first heating mode wherein the heat is turned on and off repeatedly and a second heating mode wherein the output of the heat source is decreased gradually. A third heating-control mode is also provided for terminating the application of heat to the object.

  • Patent number: 4393858
Abstract: A combustion control system having incorporated therein an electronic circuit for driving and controlling a proportional control valve provided on a fuel supply line to control the amount of combustion and thereby maintain the temperature of fluid to be heated by combustion at a constant level even when the amount of the fluid varies per unit time. The output voltage of a bridge circuit including a sensor for detecting the temperature of the fluid as a component is fed to operation amplifiers for differentiating, integrating and proportional amplification to control the control valve with the resulting output. The system is best suited for use in instantaneous water heaters.

  • Patent number: 4379964
Abstract: A method of food heating control in which the heating time length (.tau..sub.o) from a time point (t.sub.1) when the food temperature changing with the heating thereof reaches a predetermined set value (T.sub.1) to a time point (t.sub.2) when the vapor or gas liberated by heating of the food begins to increase the humidity or gas concentration is used as a basis for automatically determining a subsequent heating time length (.tau..sub.R). Since the time period (.tau..sub.R) for the subsequent heating process is determined by the heating time from the time point when the food temperature reaches a predetermined set value to the time point when the humidity or gas concentration begins to increase (unlike in the prior art method in which the heating time from the start of heating to the time point when humidity begins to increase is used to determine the subsequent heating time), the error in the heating time which otherwise might be caused by the variation in the initial food temperature is obviated.

  • Patent number: 4376131
Abstract: A food heating method and apparatus are disclosed in which a heating time length suitable to the food to be cooked is determined by automatically detecting a change in humidity or concentration of the vapor or gas respectively liberated from the food. The initial temperature of the food is measured, and an additional heating time length is calculated from the measured initial temperature and the heating time length required before the detection of the humidity or gas concentration as the case may be, thus determining a total heating time length for properly cooking up the food.

  • Patent number: 4170339
Abstract: An electromagnetic valve comprises a magnetic circuit formed by a stationary core and a movable core, or armature pivoted at one end of the stationary core and rotatable continuously between first and second positions with a free end positioned in opposed relation to the other end of the stationary core with an air gap therebetween. The armature is spring biased so as to remain in the first position and carries a valve head for engagement with a valve seat. The opposing ends of the stationary and movable cores are so shaped as to form in the air gap a first working section in which the main magnetic flux generates a vector component transverse to the length of the armature and a second working section in which the main magnetic flux generates a vector component parallel to the length of the armature. The resulting vector makes the angular displacement of the armature linearly proportional to the supply current.
