  • Patent number: 10622802
Abstract: A power receiving apparatus receives a bus voltage from a power supply apparatus via a cable, and supplies the bus voltage to a load circuit. A power receiver side controller receives, as a power supply, a voltage VADP of a bus line that is more toward a bus switch. The power receiver side controller is capable of communicating with a power supply side controller of the power supply apparatus. Furthermore, the power receiver side controller determines the voltage to be supplied based on a negotiation, and controls the bus switch. A short circuit detection circuit detects a short circuit of a bus line that is more toward the load circuit side than the bus switch.

  • Publication number: 20200084625
Abstract: An authentication system includes a first controller that performs wireless communication with a mobile terminal and a first authentication unit that executes authentication of the mobile terminal including ID authentication and code authentication through the wireless communication performed between the first controller and the mobile terminal. The first authentication unit executes the code authentication by determining whether a terminal-side calculation result obtained by the mobile terminal matches a controller-side calculation result obtained by the first controller. The authentication system further includes a second controller that communicates with the mobile terminal and a second authentication unit that applies encryption communication using a portion of the terminal-side calculation result and a portion of the controller-side calculation result to communication performed between the second controller and the mobile terminal and authenticates the encryption communication.

  • Patent number: 9065841
Abstract: A propagation time measurement device measures a propagation time of a transmission signal from when the transmission signal is transmitted, through wireless communication, from a base station to a terminal to when the transmission signal is returned to the base station from the terminal. Continuous waves having different frequencies are combined to generate the transmission signal. The propagation time measurement device includes a correlation computation unit that generates correlation values by performing a correlation computation on each of the continuous waves and a reception signal that is returned from the terminal and received by the base station. A propagation time measurement unit measures the measurement time from a phase of the correlation value generated for each continuous wave during the correlation computation.

  • Patent number: 7648307
Abstract: An underground structure cover comprises a cover body (10) and a receiving frame (20) arranged so that the cover body is fitted in and supported by the receiving frame in the manner that an inclined surface (11) of the outer circumference of the body meets an inclined surface (21) of the inner circumference of the frame. The inclined surfaces (11, 21) each have an upper inclined surface (11a, 21a) and a lower inclined surface (11b, 21b), and the lower inclined surfaces (11b, 21b) are steeper than the upper inclined surfaces (11a, 21a). The body (10) is fitted in and supported by the part (20) at the upper inclined surfaces (11a, 21a) and the lower inclined surfaces (11b, 21b). By this, the body is prevented from being wedged into the frame too deeply and also from becoming inclined with respect to the frame or riding up.

  • Publication number: 20080167021
Abstract: When a remote device returns an address in response to a search signal, a control unit searches a phone book memory based on this address, reads the user name of the corresponding remote device, and displays it on a display unit. On the other hand, when the phone book memory does not store the user name of the corresponding remote device, the control unit receives the device name from the remote device, and displays it on the display unit. When the control unit cannot receive this device name, the control unit displays the address on the display unit.

  • Patent number: 5878584
Abstract: An air conditioner equipped with a solar generator is disclosed. The solar generator is capable of converting the DC power generated by a solar cell into the AC power whose voltage and frequency correspond to that of the commercial power source. The electrical power generated by the solar cell and the electrical power consumed by the air conditioner are monitored and may be displayed. The DC power generated by the solar cell is used directly by the air conditioner or used indirectly as the commercial power source by merging the converted AC power to the commercial power source. Further, the converted AC power may be selectively merged to the commercial power source depending on the various states of the air conditioner, and the air conditioning operations may be regulated depending on the electrical power generated by the solar cell.
