  • Patent number: 10570492
Abstract: Provided is a titanium cast product for hot rolling made of commercial pure titanium or a titanium alloy, the titanium cast product including, in a surface serving as a rolling surface, a fine structure layer that is formed of an acicular structure formed in the outermost surface by melting and re-solidification treatment and that has a thickness of more than or equal to 5 mm and less than 9 mm in depth. In the titanium cast product for hot rolling according to the present invention, the surface is flat, the number of minute voids in the interior immediately below the surface is small, and the outermost surface has a significantly fine structure. When the titanium cast product is subjected to hot rolling, the occurrence of concavities on the surface in the early stage of hot rolling and the occurrence of surface defects on the hot rolled sheet can be stably prevented at a practical level.

  • Publication number: 20200033205
Abstract: An electronic device is provided that includes a flexible body, a stress sensor, and a detector. The stress sensor has a piezoelectric film that is deformed by a stress resulting from bending of the body. The stress sensor detects stresses that develop respectively at an end part and a central part of the body. When the end part and the central part are bent at the same radius of curvature, the stress sensor outputs output values such that a first output value based on a stress having developed at the end part is different from a second output value based on a stress having developed at the central part. Moreover, the detector detects at least one of the first output value and the second output value having exceeded a given threshold.

  • Patent number: 10442024
Abstract: A welding apparatus includes a housing having facing surfaces in the axial direction, and a welding head turning gear and first to third ring gears inside of the housing. A guide surface is formed on the facing surfaces. The welding head turning gear is coupled to a guide member, and the first to third ring gears are supported by the welding head turning gear and the guide member. Since a roller provided to the guide member rolls on the guide surface to rotatably support the first to third ring gears with respect to the housing, the welding apparatus can be lighter in weight and more compact compared to a conventional welding apparatus.
