  • Publication number: 20230406236
Abstract: A vehicle device in one embodiment includes: a control unit accesses a peripheral device and executes functions when a vehicle is used; a connection portion to which an external device is connected, the external device communicable with the control unit and executing a function when the vehicle is used; and a determination unit determining whether the external device is connected to the connection portion in an executable state of the function. The control unit activates the external device to enable execution of the function and stops at least one function when the external device is determined to be connected to the connection portion in the executable state. The control unit executes the at least one function being stopped for the external device to execute the function when the external device is determined to be no longer in the executable state.

  • Patent number: 10328394
Abstract: A low-cost membrane cartridge and a low-cost method for producing a membrane cartridge, in which fatigue durability can be increased with a simple structure, are provided by focusing on a bonding position of the filtration membrane onto the filtration plate. The membrane cartridge includes a filtration membrane disposed on both faces of a filtration plate made of a thermoplastic resin, such that a joining portion provided at the periphery of the filtration membrane is joined to the filtration plate. At least an inner edge portion of the joining portion has a downward inclination with respect to the surface of the filtration plate inside of the inner edge portion at an angle in a range of 10 to 45 degrees toward an outer peripheral edge of the filtration membrane. The joining portion is pressed and welded using a heating plate or an ultrasonic horn having such an inclined surface.

  • Patent number: 8467705
Abstract: An image forming apparatus has an intermediate transfer belt stretched lightly across rollers to move endlessly in a sub-scanning direction upon image formation and has an outer surface to which a toner image formed by a development unit is transferred. A secondary transfer opposing roller is one of the rollers across which the intermediate transfer belt is stretched. A secondary transfer roller contacts the outer surface of the intermediate transfer belt and transfers the toner image on the intermediate transfer belt to recording paper. A movement mechanism moves at least one of the rollers or the secondary transfer roller and changes a pressed state of the intermediate transfer belt by the secondary transfer roller at a nip of the secondary transfer opposing roller and the secondary transfer roller. A movement mechanism control unit controls a travel distance of the roller to be moved by the movement mechanism.

  • Patent number: 7349645
Abstract: A machine (1) has an image former (200) for forming an image on a recording sheet. Movable trays are provided for receiving the recording sheets. A job manager (104) stores information concerning the tray for receiving the recording sheet, and a moving mechanism (605) moves the tray to a recording sheet discharge position according to information stored the job manager (104). An input device (11) allows an operator to input a copy value corresponding to the number of copies of the recording sheets to be discharged in an image forming job, and a tray moving controller (106) for controlling the moving mechanism (605) to move the tray if the copy value inputted from the input device (11) is higher than a predetermined copy value and to keep the tray from moving if the copy value is equal to or lower than the predetermined copy value.

  • Patent number: 5019759
Abstract: An attitude control system controls a seat sliding, a seat reclining, a seat vertical, a head rest, a seat belt anchor, a steering tilting, a steering telescoping and a mirror position or attitude. The system includes a master controller and a slave controller, and a key switch which provides an attitude control command is only connected to the master controller. In response to the attitude control command from the key switch, the master controller delivers an attitude control command which is then transmitted to the slave controller. In order to avoid an interference which may occur between different mechanisms, a sequence in which the attitude control takes place is automatically switched depending on the direction in which the attitude of other mechanisms is controlled or depending on the prevailing controlled status of other mechanisms.

  • Patent number: 4737762
Abstract: A vehicle theft detector apparatus includes a key cylinder attached to a door or an opening/closing part, this cylinder having a built-in key switch which sends locked and unlocked signals to an alarm device and a locking device, the lead wires from this lock switch leading to the alarm device and locking device via connectors. When the key cylinder is removed for the purpose of entering the vehicle, the lead wires attached to the cylinder are pulled out from the connector and then the thief enters the vehicle, the alarm is sounded and the thief detected. The above-mentioned detector apparatus is provided with apparatus for taking up the slack in the lead wires, thus ensuring that the connector is immediately disconnected no matter how slightly the cylinder is pulled outwards.

  • Patent number: 4634945
Abstract: An apparatus for automatically opening and closing a closure panel associated with an opening formed in the roof of an automobile is disclosed. The apparatus drives the closure panel for tilt open and tilt closed operation and for slide open and slide closed operation. During the sliding movement of the panel, the apparatus detects a load on a panel drive mechanism in a zone where the loads are normally low, and deenergizes the panel drive mechanism in the event of occurrence of an overload. In a zone where the loads are normally high as the panel presses against a weather strip, no deenergization of the panel drive mechanism occurs during an interval allocated for overload detection. The apparatus energizes alarm means during the time the panel is driven in the closing direction in a selected mode in order to draw the attention of a vehicle driver. For assuring the safeguard of the panel, the panel is stopped temporarily during the slide closed operation at a point which leaves a given opening.

  • Patent number: 4574268
Abstract: A theft warning system for use in a vehicle, which issues a warning to protect vehicle contents when a vehicle door is opened without use of a door key. The theft warning condition is set only when all doors are closed while all the door lock devices are locked. The theft warning system generates a theft warning signal when the final open door is closed and locked without use of a door key and one of the door lock devices subsequently is unlocked without a door key.
