    Abstract: A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for an optical film, includes a (meth)acryl-based polymer obtained by polymerization of a monomer component including, as a main component, an alkyl (meth)acrylate having an alkyl group of 4 to 18 carbon atoms; and a phosphate ester compound. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is capable of forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer for optical films. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer that is for use on optical films and makes it possible to suppress an increase in the surface resistance of a transparent conductive layer even when a laminate including a transparent conductive layer and an optical film such as a polarizing plate with the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer interposed therebetween is stored under hot and humid conditions.
