  • Publication number: 20160225978
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a vibration device includes a process of strongly exciting a vibrator element by applying power, which is higher than drive power during use of the vibrator element, to the vibrator element, and a process of adjusting a frequency of the vibrator element after the process of strongly exciting the vibrator element.

  • Patent number: 7457239
Abstract: A core network that includes a number of relay nodes and edge nodes, intercoupled by network links, interconnects a plurality data transfer entities through gateway elements. Each gateway element is allocated a portion of the data communicating (QoS) resource of certain of the links, and maintains information of that allocation. When a gateway receives a request for a data transfer from a data transfer entity with a particular communicating resource requirement, it will check its associated information to determine of the allocated resource is sufficient. If not, the gateway may ask for a reconfiguration of resources that re-allocate communicating resource from one gateway element to the asking gateway element.

  • Publication number: 20060218300
Abstract: A system is described which enables provision of information to a stored program operating on a computer coupled to the network. A device connected to the network includes input ports for receiving information and output ports for providing the received information to a destination. The computer is coupled to receive information from the output port, which information is addressed to the computer. Within the device a flow control table holds entries which include source addresses representative of at least one source of information arriving at the device input ports, destination addresses representative of at least one of the destinations to which the arriving information is to be sent from an output port. The table entries also include action information for each address, and the action information can take the form of a program reference. When the information is received by the computer it can use the received information in execution of the stored program.

  • Patent number: 6944169
Abstract: A network system comprises a network of data sources interconnecting plural clients by way plural network devices. A data server achieves flexibility in its use of network resources by altering the attributes of one or more network devices along the communication channels between the data server and the plural clients. This is accomplished during the normal course of data transmissions to the plural clients, thus providing real time control over the network device attribute. The invention is particularly useful in data servers, such as a video server system, in which data transmissions are characterized by a long sequence of data packets.

  • Publication number: 20030033467
Abstract: A router system for dynamically allocating resources to enable provision of different levels of service in a network is described. The router includes a flow control table which stores entries that include source and destination addresses and priority information for each address. The priority information enables the provision of multiple different priorities to provide different qualities of service to different users of the network.
