The method comprises the following steps: (1) draining water after blanching raw red shiso; (2) extracting, with water, the blanched red shiso while applying heat; and (3) adding an acid to the extract of the red shiso.

Abstract: The colorimetric values of a plurality of reference color patches formed on a specific medium are measured at a plurality of temperatures, and a temperature characteristic LUT in a colorimetric value temperature correction unit is created based on the colorimetric values. Upon creating a calibration LUT, a patch based on arbitrary device values is formed on the medium, and a patch temperature and colorimetric values are acquired immediately after fixing of that patch. A correction target temperature as a temperature upon observation of the medium is, for example, fixed, the colorimetric values are corrected by interpolation processing based on the temperature characteristic LUT to obtain colorimetric values, and a calibration LUT is created based on the colorimetric values.

Abstract: A first color patch printed on a first printing material and a second color patch printed on a second printing material, which match each other in appearance in a desired environment, are acquired. The calorimetric values of a color patch to be measured which is printed on the first printing material are corrected using the calorimetric values of the first and second color patches and a spectrophotometric calorimeter for obtaining calorimetric values in a desired environment, thereby generating effective calorimetric values.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for preparing a soft vegetable material which is suitably used for the production of a food or a meal for, in particular, the aged persons and which holds the shape of a particular ingredient of the food. The method comprises the steps of: (1) freezing a vegetable material and then thawing the frozen vegetable material to thus form a thawed vegetable material; (2) immersing the thawed vegetable material in a dispersion containing a pectin-decomposition enzyme or a cellulose-decomposition enzyme under reduced pressure; and (3) subjecting the vegetable material, which has been immersed in the dispersion and then thawed, to a heat-treatment at a temperature for a time sufficient for deactivating the pectin-decomposition enzyme or a cellulose-decomposition enzyme. Moreover, the thawing treatment in the foregoing step (1) may likewise be carried out simultaneous with the step of the enzyme-impregnation treatment under reduced pressure.

The suspicious behavior detection system has an ambulatory path acquisition unit which acquires ambulatory path information of the monitored subject, and a behavioral identification unit which identifies behavior of the monitored subject based on the ambulatory path information, and automatically determines suspicious behavior of the monitored subject.
