    Abstract: The object of the invention is to prevent problems, before they occur, in a multiple-participant network game wherein e-mails inside and outside the game can be communicated in cooperation with each other and wherein the game can be used with Internet e-mail addresses, which are personal information, not opened. To solve these problems the invention provides for an e-mail community system, which allows characters in a network game to communicate with each other, includes a step of permitting, when a sender uses a dedicated e-mail address, a receiver to use the dedicated e-mail address and an Internet e-mail address to perform transmission/reception; and a step of permitting, when the sender uses the Internet e-mail address, the receiver to use the dedicated e-mail address by automatically converting the Internet e-mail address into the dedicated e-mail address to perform transmission/reception.

    Abstract: An information processing system includes a processing unit which executes a prefetch instruction included as one of a plurality of instructions of a program in a main memory two hierarchical level caches connected to the processing unit and the main memory as arranged so that a primary cache close to the processing unit is a first level cache, and a secondary cache close to the main memory is a second level cache. The prefetch instruction, when executed, causes the processing unit to perform a prefetch operation by transferring operand data to be used in a subsequent load instruction from the main memory to the two hierarchical level data caches, prior to executing the subsequent load instruction. The prefetch instruction includes a plurality of indication bits for specifying cache levels to which the operand data is to be transferred.

    Abstract: A large diameter part is formed in a case-side oil passage, an O-ring is fitted into the large diameter part, and an oil pump is installed to the transmission case by adjusting a discharge hole thereof and the case-side oil passage in alignment with each other. A notch is formed in radial direction from an inner peripheral surface of the large diameter part to an outer peripheral surface of a seat part. When the discharge hole and the case-side oil passage are communicated without the O-ring in the large diameter part, an oil passing through the discharge hole leaks from the notch. Thus in a state the O-ring is not assembled, an oil pressure is not increased by positively leaking the oil through the notch, whereby it can be easily detected that the O-ring is not assembled by mistake.

The casing and the housing include inner walls defining an air breather chamber and communicating parts. The air breather chamber is defined in a region located above a joint between the casing and the housing and ranging from an upper side of the second shaft to an upper side of the first shaft and between the second shaft and the first shaft. The communicating parts are defined at a position in the upper side of the first shaft and at a position between the second shaft and the first shaft.     Abstract: First and second oil flow passages are defined in a wall portion of a transmission casing. The first oil flow passage has an open end exposed to an interior of the casing. The second oil passage is connected to the first oil passage through a connection opening defined by the first oil passage. A separate pipe member has a predetermined end portion that is inserted into the first oil passage from the open end of the same. The predetermined end portion comprises a cylindrical portion having a fixed length; an end opening defined by an end of the cylindrical portion and exposed to the first oil passage; and an orifice opening defined by a side wall of the cylindrical portion. The orifice opening is blocked by an inner wall of the first oil passage when the connection opening takes a first position relative to the open end of the first oil passage, and exposed to the second oil passage when the connection opening takes a second position relative to the open end of the first oil passage.

    Abstract: An oil cooling and filtering system of a transmission is described which comprises first and second oil passages formed in a given portion of a housing of the transmission. The given portion has an outer surface exposed to the outside of the housing. The first oil passage is fed with a compressed lubricating oil from an oil compressing means and the second oil passage is led to moving parts of the transmission which are to be lubricated. An oil cooler is connected to the outer surface of the given portion. The oil cooler includes a water flow passage and an oil flow passage which are isolated from each other. The oil flow passage has an inlet opening connected to the first oil passage and an outlet opening connected to the second oil passage. An oil filter is installed in at least one one of the first and second oil passages for filtering the lubricating oil flowing in the oil passage. With this arrangement, the oil cooler can be compact in size and simple in construction.

    Abstract: When two patterns overlap each other and an over stitch block in one of the two patterns divides an under stitch block in the other pattern, a first correction processing is performed so as to divide the under stitch block into two stitch blocks. Then, a second correction processing is performed as follows. A degree of hardening of the stitch embroidery portion resulting from a tightening of the threads of the embroideries in an overlapped portion between the over and under stitch blocks to a workpiece is first determined according to reference directions of the stitch blocks and positions of intersections of the stitch blocks. Then, the higher the degree of tightening, the more the area of the overlapped portion of the under stitch block near the boundary between the stitch blocks is left, whereas the lower the degree of tightening, the more this area is eliminated. Finally, an embroidery frame moving mechanism is controlled according to the corrected stitch data.
