  • Patent number: 5757233
Abstract: The present invention relates to a complementary transistor circuit and, an amplifier using it, and in particular, to a video amplifier for amplifying video signals and a high-definition CRT display device. In amplifying inputted video signals by using a multiplexer, a gain controller and a current mirror amplifier, each element circuit is formed by using complementary transistor circuits. Circuit simplification is thus attained. In addition, higher precision and band broadening has been realized owing to adoption of a current operation. Further, the present invention makes it possible to eliminate direct from the high voltage output completely by providing a low-voltage output circuit for feedback having a similar relationship with respect to the high-voltage video output stage of the video amplifier, thereby performing negative feedback via a sample-and-hold circuit. This also serves to broaden the bandwidth and reduce power dissipation.

  • Patent number: 5367953
Abstract: Disclosed is a roller offset printing apparatus which comprises image sensors 14 and 15 disposed on a linear stage 4, and position correction motors 8 to 13 disposed in the respective peripheries of a master plate 6 and a work plate 7, wherein positions of the master plate 6 and the work plate 7 on the linear stage 4 are detected by the image sensors 14 and 15 so that the respective positions of the master plate 6 and the work plate 7 are corrected by the motors 8 to 13 in accordance with the quantities of displacement when there is any displacement between the detected positions and reference positions. After correction, the linear stage 4 and a roller transfer drum 1 are moved while being synchronized with each other to thereby perform transfer. As a result, accuracy in positioning of the master plate and the work plate on the linear stage is improved, so that good superposition printing is provided.

  • Patent number: 4888561
Abstract: Herein disclosed are an amplifier and a display which uses the former. The amplifier includes a current amplifying circuit for sending out an amplified output current varying according to an input signal, and a current-voltage converting circuit for converting the output current of the current amplifying circuit into a voltage thereby to generate a high output voltage in response to the input signal. The supply voltage V.sub.cc1 of the current amplifying means and the supply voltage V.sub.cc2 of the current-voltage converting means are set separately of each other to have a relationship of V.sub.cc1 <V.sub.cc2. Thus, a high output voltage can be obtained from the current-voltage converting circuit without the need for the current amplifying means to have high breakdown voltage elements.

  • Patent number: 4603406
Abstract: A dual memory system consists of two memory units each having volatile memory devices, backup power storage means and backup monitoring facility which memorizes a signal indicative of whether backup is successful or failing. When the contents of one memory unit are copied to another memory unit, the receiving memory unit has the monitor signal in a state which is made coincident with the signal state of the sending memory unit. Consequently, the receiving memory unit will have the same state of the monitor signal as of the sending memory unit at the end of copying, and thus both memory units are in a successful backup state only when the sending memory unit is in a successful backup state.

  • Patent number: 4401922
Abstract: In a convergence distortion correction method and apparatus for raster-scanned color CRT having a dynamic convergence magnet assembly, the CRT display screen is divided into a plurality of zones. A digital memory is provided with a data storage field and a flag bit field at each address. Addresses of the zones are generated by means of a sync signal regenerated from an input video signal. First, the addresses of zones to be subjected to the adjustment of convergence distortion are selected to set flags in the flag bit fields of the digital memory at its addresses specified by the selected zone addresses. Then, by referring to the flags, guide patterns are displayed on the selected zones and are used to adjust the convergence distortions in those zones. Preferably, one of the displayed guide patterns is flickered. Correction data based on the results of the adjustment are stored in the data storage fields of the digital memory at the corresponding addresses.
