  • Publication number: 20230086653
Abstract: A computer implemented system and method is provided for responding to textual reviews. The method comprises: receiving harvested content comprising a text segment and associated with an entity; determining a primary intent of the text segment determined by reviewing a set of utterances in the text segment of the harvested content and comparing the set of utterances to example utterances associated with a set of pre-defined intents, the primary intent having a highest similarity to the set of utterances in the text segment as compared to other deduced intents and associated utterances. The method comprises assigning a confidence score associated with determining the primary intent. If the confidence score exceeds a first threshold, generating an automated response, based on the primary intent and automatically responding to the harvested content with the automated response having the customized sentence segment where the confidence score exceeds a second threshold score.

  • Patent number: 9684683
Abstract: A semantic tagging engine automatically generates semantic tags for the given documents and enables semantic search, based on meanings of search terms and content tags. A Semantic Knowledge Management Tool (SKMT) forms a semantic search and knowledge management platform to search, analyze and manage enterprise content. SKMT scans different content sources and generates indexes of semantic keywords. Its interface allows users to manage various data sources, search, explore and visualize search results at semantic level. SKMT provides high precision of semantic search and semantic data visualization.

  • Patent number: 8751218
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that perform automated semantic tagging. Automated semantic tagging produces semantically linked tags for a given text content. Embodiments provide ontology mapping algorithms and concept weighting algorithms that create accurate semantic tags that can be used to improve enterprise content management, and search for better knowledge management and collaboration.

  • Patent number: 6424978
Abstract: An automatic formatting system programmatically creates an electronic file format for card-based hypermedia documents without the knowledge of the target document format. The script-based formatting system includes an automated method for generating formatting scripts which, at run-time, are used by a commercial authoring tool to generate the document file format. With this approach, it is possible to take advantage of the script interpreter capabilities rather than interactive editing capabilities in authoring tools. The system includes a mixer where descriptions about documents are obtained by attaching formatting commands to document contents through a pre-processing procedure. The descriptions are input to an automatic scripting module which generates formatting scripts. The automatic scripting module includes an HCF generator and a formatting script interpreter. At run-time the formatting scripts are executed by the authoring tools' script interpreter to generate card-based hypermedia documents.

  • Patent number: 6321244
Abstract: A system that automatically restructures SGML documents into a format referred to as card-based documents is based on a Card Layout Style Specification Language (CLSSL). The CLSSL controls the information, arrangement, sequencing, and presentation features of the cards. The system includes a scroll-card transformer, a media-card extractor, a card style editor, a platform-independent generator and a platform dependent generator. SGML documents are first transformed in scroll-card transformer into cards based on various scroll-to-card transformation guidelines. The non-textual media that are associated with textual documents are also transformed in the media-card extractor by extracting a portion of the information for individual cards. Once the textual and non-textual documents are transformed properly into cards, the card layout style editor is used to create the formatting commands, referred to as Card Layout Style Specifications (CLSS), for each type of card in the card-based manual.

  • Patent number: 5794257
Abstract: A link specification and an electronic manual is provided to an auto linker which in conjunction with a run-time media engine provides hyperlinked manuals. The auto linker comprises a link generator for generating links and a link verifier for checking and modifying the links that are generated. The run-time media engine comprises an event handler and a script interpreter and handles the user interaction. Through the interaction of the hyperlinks from the auto linker with the run-time media engine the hyperlinked manuals are produced.
