Abstract: Methods and systems for conducting a competition within a gaming environment. Two or more players can be enabled to electronically access a gaming environment over a communication network. The players can be registered to allow access to a competition within the gaming environment. Each player can be enabled to compete against one or more other players by selecting from macro events displayed in the gaming environment one or more micro event outcomes to future micro events, the micro event outcomes randomized to prevent cheating. A selection of the micro outcomes utilizes a number of points or credits, wherein each selection of a micro outcome increases a selecting player's points or credit balance if the micro outcome occurs or decreases the points or credit balance if the micro outcome selected does not occur.

Abstract: An electrical vehicle (EV) rescue vehicle includes a mobile platform, which further includes a winch and a ramp. The mobile platform of the rescue vehicle is deployable for retrieving a disabled EV (the “recued vehicle”) thereon with said winch and said ramp and far transportation of said EV. A charging unit is associated with said mobile platform for connection to and charging of the EV, either on location or during transport. A systems analysis module can be included with the system for testing the functionality of systems and components of the EV and providing results to customers. The mobile platform can be provided as a rescue vehicle in the form of a trailer pulled by another vehicle or integrated with another vehicle (e.g., a truck). The rescue vehicle can also carry passengers associated with said EV as the EV is being transported, charged, and/or analyzed by the rescue vehicle.

Wearable devices and transponders can be used to track patient location within a facility and determine when a healthcare provider is within close proximity to a patient to provide record access, track and record treatment, and authorize treatment. A patient profile stored in a server can associate patients and healthcare providers. Treatment notifications can be provided to health care providers authorized to receive electronic notifications when a patient receives subsequent treatment at a facility or by a new and/or unregistered healthcare provider. Notification lists can be stored in the patient profile accessible via the server when a patient is admitted for treatment at a treatment facility.

Abstract: Method, system and computer program product for providing additional information to a handheld device (HHD) about a displayed point of interest in video programming displayed on a multimedia display. A image of the video programming captured by a HHD camera can be used at a remote server to identify the video programming by matching it with archived programming. If identified, additional information related to the video programming can be obtained/provided. A region within a particular frame of displayed video programming can be selected at the HHD to access additional information about a point of interest associated with the region. The additional information can be displayed on the HHD or a secondary display, in response to selecting the region to access the additional information from a remote server.

Abstract: A wearable device that can provide images via a display located within two inches and in view of a human eye in association with headgear, and can biometrically authenticate an authorized user based on at least one of a user's eye. The wearable device can access a data network and determine a user's location. An authorized user can be provided with data based on the user's identity and location as determined by a wearable device. The location of a user within a venue can be determined using radio frequency transponders in communication with a wearable device and authenticating the user via biometric attributes of a user's eye as captured by a imaging device associated with the wearable device. Sensitive data can be managed in association with a patient based on health provider authentication and identity of a transponder used in association with the patient.

The STORE field can be used to select a storage location for the email message and any attachments that is besides or in addition to the SEND file location associated with the email client. Email messages can be automatically stored once a user sends a message. The email message can also be converted into another format prior to storage after the message is sent by a user to email recipients.

The activity can also be a live utterance (e.g., a live announcement), which can then be instantly converted into a digitized voice alert for automatic delivery in a selected series of languages following the base language (e.g., English). The combined digitized voice alert can then be instantly transmitted through a network for broadcast of consecutive alerts (e.g., English followed by Spanish followed by Vietnamese, etc.) to one or more remote electronic devices that communicates with the network for an automatic audio announcement of the digitized voice alert through the one or more remote electronic devices.
