    Abstract: The invention provides for a cold applied oval port seal particularly useful for sealing optical fiber cables. The closure includes two shell members which fit together to define the enclosure edge wedge seals and internal flexible fingers to locate the optical fibers, restrain movement of the sealing material, and provide strain relief along the longitudinal axis of the cables.
