Abstract: A method for controlling emergency stop of an autonomous vehicle is provided. The method includes: controlling emergency stop of an autonomous vehicle capable of recognizing a stop request from an emergency vehicle, determining whether a current situation is an emergency situation or a general situation, and performing a procedure corresponding to each situation to stop the autonomous vehicle based on each situation.

Abstract: A system for handling a lost item in an autonomous vehicle and a server. The vehicle includes a vision sensor configured to respectively capture a first vehicle interior image and a second vehicle interior image when a passenger boards and alights from the vehicle. The vehicle is configured to transmit the captured first vehicle interior image and second vehicle interior image to the server. The server is configured to compare the first vehicle interior image with the second vehicle interior image and transmit lost item information to the passenger when the lost item in the vehicle is sensed.

Abstract: A guidance apparatus for an autonomous vehicle and a method therefor are provided. The guidance apparatus includes a first guidance device that guides a passenger in the autonomous vehicle through first response information, a second guidance device that guides a rescuer outside the autonomous vehicle through second response information, and a controller that controls guidance on the first response information and guidance on the second response information, when abnormality occurs in the autonomous vehicle.

Abstract: An apparatus for controlling a vehicle capable of performing autonomous driving is provided. The apparatus includes an autonomous driving device that executes the autonomous driving and generates a transition demand when it is impossible to execute the autonomous driving. A driving controller performs a minimum risk maneuver (MRM) of applying a deceleration pattern differently depending on a driving environment of the vehicle, when the transition demand is generated, but when driving manipulation by a driver does not occur. A subsequent safety ensuring function is performed according to the MRM for the driver to recognize the MRM, and a drive mode of the vehicle is changed to a drive mode with a rapid response speed to acceleration or steering.

Abstract: An apparatus for determining failure of a vehicle is provided. The apparatus includes a sensor configured to obtain autonomous driving information, and a controller configured to compare the autonomous driving information obtained during autonomous driving with a determination criterion set as failure sound information and to determine whether the failure occurs, based on the comparison result.
