    Abstract: An apparatus for providing utility receptacles and HDMI cables at a location on a work surface has a bottom panel member and a wall structure attached to the bottom panel member. The wall structure defines an interior region. An interior panel is positioned within the interior region and attached to the wall structure to form upper and lower compartments. An electrical power device is positioned within the interior region and attached to the wall structure. The electrical power device has an electrical power receptacle and device charging ports. A HDMI signal switcher is in the lower compartment and has HDMI input and output connectors. The apparatus includes a plurality of HDMI cables. Each HDMI cable extends from a corresponding opening in the interior panel and has a first HDMI connector connected to a corresponding HDMI input connector and a second HDMI connector for connection to an HDMI signal source device.

    Abstract: A portable apparatus that provides electrical power receptacles and device charging ports. The portable apparatus has a base member and a plurality of post members connected to the base member. Each post member has an electrical power receptacle that provides electrical power and an electrical power device having a device charging port that provides a voltage suitable for charging and powering devices such as cell phones, cameras, iPads, Ipods and similar devices. In a preferred embodiment, the electrical power device includes an additional electrical power receptacle. Each post member has an interior region and electrical wiring located with the interior region which provides electrical power to the electrical power receptacles and the electrical power device. The portable apparatus also has a top member connected to the post members and an intermediate support member that is attached to the post members and located between the top member and the base member.

    Abstract: An apparatus for providing HDMI cables and utility receptacles on a work surface. The apparatus has a housing which has an interior region, a lower portion and an upper portion. The upper portion has an opening that provides access to the interior region. The lower portion comprises wall sections attached to and extending downwardly from the upper portion. The upper portion has a flange portion that is angulated with respect to the wall sections. A bottom panel is attached to the wall sections. The housing is sized such that the lower portion fits into a through-hole in a work surface and the flange portion contacts and rests upon portions of the work surface extending about the through-hole in the work surface. A HDMI signal switching device is within the interior region and has a plurality of HDMI input connectors and an HDMI output connector.

    Abstract: The present invention is directed to an apparatus for providing utility receptacles and cables at a selected location on a work station that has a work surface. The apparatus comprises a housing comprising a lower portion and an upper portion. The upper portion has a perimeter and a flange portion that extends about the entire perimeter. The upper portion of the housing has a top opening that is bounded by the flange portion. The lower portion of the housing comprises lengthwise and widthwise walls that are attached to and extend downwardly from the upper portion of the housing. The housing further comprises a bottom panel that is attached to the lengthwise and widthwise walls. The housing has an interior region that is accessible through top opening. The housing is sized so that the lower portion of the housing fits into a through-hole in a work surface of a work station and the flange portion contacts and rests upon the portion of the work surface that extends about the through-hole in the work surface.

The receptacle attachment member has a wave-like contour having a crest portion. At least one power or communication receptacle is connected to the receptacle attachment member. The receptacle attachment member has a central portion and the crest portion of the wave-like contour is at the central portion of the receptacle attachment member. Covers are movably attached to the upper, peripheral portion. Each cover corresponds to a respective half of the frame. A lighting device is attached to the receptacle attachment member to illuminate the interior region of the frame.

    Abstract: A pop-up power and communication outlet apparatus having a hollow leg structure having an interior, a top end having an opening in communication with the interior of the hollow leg structure, and a bottom end. The apparatus also has a power and communication outlet structure that has a sleeve structure disposed within and attached to the hollow leg structure, and an outlet center movably disposed within the sleeve structure such that the outlet center can move vertically with respect to the sleeve structure. The outlet center has at least one power outlet or at least one communication outlet. In a preferred embodiment, the outlet center has a plurality of power outlets and a plurality of communication outlets. A lift mechanism is located within the sleeve structure and is connected between the sleeve structure and the outlet center. The lift mechanism urges the outlet center upward.

The apparatus has a power and communication outlet structure that is sized to fit into an opening in the work surface of the article. The outlet structure includes a shell having a perimeter, a top end and a bottom end. At least one power outlet and/or communication outlet is connected to the shell. A bottom plate member is attached to the bottom end of the shell and has portions thereof that extend beyond the perimeter of the shell. The bottom plate member has a top side and a bottom side. The apparatus also has a slide apparatus that has a stationary rail member and a movable member that slides upon the rail member. The movable member is attached to the bottom plate member so that the power and communication outlet structure can move between a retracted position and an extended position. The apparatus includes a mounting plate for attachment to the bottom of the work surface.

    Abstract: An oximetry sensor that can be easily applied and attached to a portion of the body of a patient in a noninvasive manner is provided. The oximetry sensor of the present invention includes an adhesive wrap member for use with reusable pulse oximetry sensor electronics (e.g., an LED assembly and a photodiode coupled with a cable) to retain the sensor in the desired position comfortably on a patient. The adhesive member includes a release liner thereover which may include an appliqué or other member thereon, for example, instructions for use. The release liner is configured for removal from the adhesive member in at least one release liner portion subsequent to attaching of the pulse oximetry sensor electronics without disturbing such positioning.
