  • Patent number: 8280017
Abstract: A communication terminal apparatus is provided capable of preventing a misunderstanding that the external attachment telephone is hooked up, so that the external attachment telephone can be correctly shifted to a receiving mode. In the apparatus, a ring signal detecting section detects a ring signal sent by a line exchange machine from a line; and a hookup detecting section monitors a line voltage of the line and detects a hookup of an external attachment telephone. In the hookup detecting section, a line voltage detecting section detects the line voltage on the line; a reference voltage outputting section outputs a reference voltage; a threshold value voltage switching section switches to a threshold value voltage representing a first voltage level or switches to a threshold value voltage representing a second voltage level; and a voltage comparing section compares the reference voltage with the line voltage when the ring signal is detected.

  • Patent number: 7505076
Abstract: In a digital camera having a red-eye reduction bracket photographing mode, a plurality of bracket photographing operations are carried out at a predetermined second interval, in which a strobe unit pre-emits strobe flash emission and, after the lapse of a predetermined first time from the pre-emission, emits main strobe flash emission to pickup an image by an image pickup unit. The image data obtained by each bracket photographing operation is written in a cache memory. Upon completion of the writing of the image data, the latter is read from the cache memory and is indicated in an image displaying LCD unit. A user can observe the indicated image data while switching the same by a selection switch. Consequently, only the image data selected by the user using an OK switch can be recorded in an image recording medium.

  • Patent number: 5867628
Abstract: An electronic still video apparatus in which, when an image releasing operation is effected, image signals are picked up and recorded on a recording medium, and when a sound receipt operation starts, sound signals are received for a predetermined period of time, so that the received sound signals are recorded on the recording medium when a sound releasing operation is effected. The electronic still video apparatus has an AV record mode in which the image signals and the sound signals are recorded on the recording medium in corresponding fashion. The image signals are recorded prior to the recording of the sound signals, regardless of the receipt of the sound signals in the AV record mode when the image release operation is effected.

  • Patent number: 5815204
Abstract: A strobe apparatus includes a light emitter which emits strobe light toward an object to be photographed, and a color temperature detector which detects a color temperature of ambient light reflected by the object. A controller varies a color temperature of the strobe light in accordance with the color temperature of the reflected ambient light. Thus, the color temperature of the object is made substantially identical to a predetermined value corresponding to a specific spectral sensitivity of an image pickup device.
