A first scintillator layer (201) is formed inside the neutron reactant layer 220, and a photoelectric conversion layer (202) is formed inside the first scintillator layer (201). A neutron reactant layer (210) is composed of enriched boron carbide (10B4C), and generates ?-rays from neutrons by a (n, ?) reaction in enriched boron. The first scintillator layer (201) is light-emitted by this ?-rays.
