    Abstract: A traction-drive type driving-force transmission mechanism includes an output shaft and a sun roller that is rotatable about a first central axis. Shafts having respective second central axes are disposed respectively on corresponding secondary axes, of which is inclined relative to the first central axis in such a manner that each second central axis is aligned with the corresponding secondary axis. A pressing member is coupled to the output shaft. A plurality of speed-reduction rollers are disposed along an outer peripheral surface of the sun roller and are supported by the respective shafts. The pressing member presses each of the speed-reduction rollers against the outer peripheral surface of the sun roller to allow a driving force to be transmitted by a traction force between the sun roller and the speed-reduction roller.

The frame includes an inner circumferential face into which a stator core is press fitted and receives a second bearing of the rotor. The frame is secured to the first housing by a first clamp screw. The first housing and the second housing are secured by a second clamp screw. The first and second clamp screws are tightened from the hand of the frame.

The annular members are rotatably supported on the output cylinder. An annular disk-shaped permanent magnet is fixed to one of the annular members at the side surface thereof opposite to the surface facing the disk. Further, an annular disk-shaped plate of magnetic material having an outer diameter greater than that of the permanent magnet is fixed on the outer side surface of the permanent magnet projecting radially from the outer circumferential surface of the permanent magnet.
