  • Publication number: 20240339930
Abstract: An onboard control apparatus includes a duty ratio control unit, a current control unit, and a switching unit. The duty ratio control unit performs duty ratio control so as to turn a switch on and off at a set duty ratio. The current control unit performs current control so as to change the current to be supplied to the resistor portion while continuously supplying the current to the resistor portion. The switching unit switches, when a switching condition is established while the duty ratio control unit is performing the duty ratio control, to the current control by the current control unit.

  • Publication number: 20240235405
Abstract: In a power converter apparatus, a control unit can perform cyclical control that cyclically repeats switching control that switches operations between a third operation, a first operation, the third operation, and a second operation in that order. The control unit performs at least first control, in which a third switching element is switched between off, on and off states in that order during each first operation in the above cyclical control, the third switching element is switched between the off, on and off states in that order during each second operation, and the third switching element is kept in the off state during each third operation.

  • Patent number: 11967889
Abstract: A bootstrap circuit unit of a DC-DC converter applies, to a drive unit, a voltage that is higher than that at a first connection point between switching elements in a first conversion operation, and applies, to the drive unit, a voltage that is higher than that at a second connection point between switching elements in a second conversion operation. A charge-pump circuit unit steps up an input voltage and applies the resulting voltage to the drive unit. The drive unit sets the voltage of a first drive signal and a second drive signal according to a voltage applied by the bootstrap circuit unit or a voltage applied by the charge-pump circuit unit. The charge-pump circuit unit determines the operation timing at which the charge-pump circuit unit is to apply the output voltage, based on the first and second voltage, and the first and second power supply unit charging signals.

  • Patent number: 9577504
Abstract: Provided is a cryogen supply and return apparatus and a superconducting rotating electric machine, comprising stationary and rotatable members arranged out of contact with each other, preventing an increase of maintenance cost or a temperature increase of the cryogen which would be caused by contacts of the members. A cylinder 20 has on its outer peripheral surface ring-like recesses or grooves regularly or irregularly spaced in the longitudinal direction or spiral recesses or grooves continuously or discontinuously extending in the peripheral direction, to resist helium gas flowing through a cylindrical space between the cylinder 20 and the inner tube 14b of the second double tube member and, as a result, to control a leakage of the helium gas from the cylindrical space.

  • Patent number: 9130447
Abstract: Provided are a rotor core, a method for cooling a rotor core, and a superconducting rotating machine, capable of effectively and uniformly cooling superconducting coils without causing cold brittleness in an extremely low temperature. The rotor core 10, which is made of a substantially hollow cylindrical member of nonmagnetic material, has a cylindrical cavity 13 defined therein and extending in the longitudinal axis of the member. Helium gas 300 is delivered in the rotor core 10 from the proximal to distal sides and vice versa, which ensures a uniform cooling of the rotor core 10. This also ensures a uniform and effective cooling of the superconducting coils.
