  • Patent number: 6188834
Abstract: A signal recording apparatus is arranged to record main information in a first area provided in each of a multiplicity of parallel tracks formed on a tape-shaped recording medium, and an index signal in a second area of each of a predetermined number of continuous tracks, the second area being provided separately from the first area within each of the multiplicity of parallel tracks. The apparatus records, as the index signal, first index information in a first section within the second area of each of the predetermined number of continuous tracks, with either one of binary data being repeated continuously during a period corresponding to the first section, and second index information in a second section within the second area of each of the predetermined number of continuous tracks, the second index information including track data indicative of relation to a specific track among the predetermined number of continuous tracks.

  • Patent number: 6072658
Abstract: A cassette mounting device is arranged to hold a cassette with a cassette holder and to support the cassette holder to be movable upward or downward relative to a chassis between raised and lowered positions. X-shaped links are disposed on both sides of the cassette holder and shaft pin parts of two interconnected levers are arranged to be slidable in a state of engaging cam slot parts of the chassis on the sides where these levers are mounted on the chassis. The cam slot parts are formed aslant, at least at their parts corresponding to the raised and lowered positions of the cassette holder, at such an angle of inclination that the shaft pin parts relatively move upward when the cassette holder descends.

  • Patent number: 5483401
Abstract: In a recording or reproducing apparatus arranged to carry out recording or reproduction of a signal while keeping a magnetic tape wrapped around a rotary head drum equipped with a head, the upper cylinder of the rotary head drum is provided with a rotor core which constitutes part of a rotary transformer for carrying out signal exchange between the head and an external circuit. An elastically deformable contact is held by a holder secured to the rotor core, and includes a plurality of conductive portions, each conducting electricity between opposed faces of the elastically deformable contact, and a cutout defined in a middle portion thereof. The elastically deformable contact is pressed from opposed sides between a conductive pattern connected to the magnetic head and a conductive pattern connected to the rotor core so that it can be brought into pressure contact with both of the conductive patterns, thereby providing electrical conduction between the head and the rotor core.

  • Patent number: 4946551
Abstract: A plurality of thermoplastic sheets are laminated into a laminated assembly, which is then pressed into a laminated assembly. First, the sheets to be laminated in one cycle are heated while the sheets are arranged in a juxtaposed relationship in the order in which they are to be laminated. The heated sheets are penetrated with needles to detachably hold the sheets while keeping the sheets in the juxtaposed relationship. A support member which supports the laminated assembly is moved below the sheets held and relatively to the sheets in a direction in which the sheets are arranged in the juxtaposed relationship, the sheets are released from the needles onto the support member to stack the sheets thereon into the laminated assembly while the support member is being moved relatively to the sheets. The support is then delivered into a shaping die assembly.

  • Patent number: 4767046
Abstract: A pair of working lines for side panels are provided in parallel on the right and left sides of a main transfer line. Each working line includes, in the following order, a charging station, plural working stations, and a discharging station. A shuttle hanger conveyor extends from the charging to the discharging stations and has plural hangers movable on a conveying rail. Each hanger includes at least one vertically adjustable hook and a suppressing member for engaging the side panel and keep it from swinging. Each working station includes a jig movable to take the side panel from the hanger and hold it in a preferred position. A transfer station is located adjacent the assembly station of the main transfer line. A discharging hanger conveyor is provided for moving the worked-on side panels from the discharging stations to the transfer station.

  • Patent number: 4206944
Abstract: An opening/closing device for a lid adapted to openably cover an opening of, for example, a trunk of a motorcar does not substantially project into the trunk when the lid is closed. An elongated guide slot extends along a side edge of the opening. A first arm member has one end fixedly secured to the lid and the other end slidably fitted in the guide slot. A second arm member has one end pivotably mounted on the first arm member or on the lid and the other end pivotably mounted on the side edge of the opening. The first and second arm members are adapted to be folded into positions substantially parallel to each other when the lid is closed.
