  • Patent number: 10087588
Abstract: A road finishing machine includes a chassis, a material bunker for receiving paving material located at the front in the paving direction of the road finishing machine, and a screed for compacting paving material located at the rear in the paving direction of the road finishing machine. On a driver stand of the road finishing machine, a main control platform with primary operational controls is provided for controlling working components of the road finishing machine. The primary operational controls may be actuated by an operator located on the road finishing machine. An operation unit with a plurality of secondary operational controls is provided laterally at the chassis or the material bunker.

  • Patent number: 9963838
Abstract: A screed arrangement includes a screed assembly (1) for laying a road surface (3), the screed assembly (1) configured to determine a working width (W), viewed in the working direction (R), for laying of the road surface (3). The screed arrangement further includes a working station (9) for an operator (P) mounted on the screed assembly (1). The working station (9) is mounted on the screed assembly (1) in a vibration-decoupled manner, such that the transmission of vibrations from the screed assembly (1) to the working station (9) an be reduced or prevented.

  • Publication number: 20170198445
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a screed assembly for laying a road surface, said assembly determining a working width, viewed in the working direction, for laying of the road surface, and a working station for an operator being mounted on the screed assembly. The working station is mounted on the screed assembly in a vibration-decoupled manner, such that the transmission of vibrations from the screed assembly to the working station can be reduced or prevented.

  • Patent number: 9045870
Abstract: In a road finishing machine comprising at least one screed, a machine control, and a ventilation system including a fan, the fan can be switched on or off via the machine control automatically independent of the operator and exclusively depending on demand. According to the invention, before or during the laying operation, a defined demand for the operation of the ventilation system is determined, and during or for the laying operation, the ventilation system is operated independent of the operator and automatically, and optionally power-controlled, upon determination of the defined demand.

  • Patent number: 8622165
Abstract: A building machine, especially a road finishing machine, comprising a presence detection system. The presence detection system comprises a sensor which is integrated in the control panel of the building machine. By means of the sensor a distance measurement can be carried out, which determines whether the operator is properly seated on the driver's seat of the building machine or whether he stands properly at the standing work place. In order to determine the presence a tolerance range may be specified, which allows a slight movement of the operator on the driver's seat. If the operator approaches the limits of the tolerance range he is asked in time by warning signals to be seated again properly on the driver's seat or adopt a proper position at the standing work place. If the sensor detects no operator on the driver's seat or at the standing work place all of the functions of the building machine are stopped in order to make sure that the work site is safe.
