  • Publication number: 20140289677
Abstract: A touch panel is constructed by a display/sensor unit which is slightly larger than a display screen of an LCD and a sensor unit which is projected to the outside from one side, for example, from one side on the right. A finger of the user is touched to a selection item such as desired button, icon, or the like on the display/sensor unit and vertically moved on the sensor unit. A selection display constructed by a plurality of buttons is displayed along the side of the display screen by the LCD. A button beside the finger is highlighted. When the finger is released, the highlighted button is selected. If there are no buttons adjacent to the finger, the button is not highlighted. Even if the finger is released, the state is not changed. When finger is moved to the display/sensor unit, the selection display disappears.

  • Patent number: 8823501
Abstract: An ultrasonic generation element provides a primary resonance portion existing in an ultrasonic frequency band, and is caused to perform only a notice sound generation by parametric speaker. An audible-sound generation piezoelectric speaker provides a primary resonance portion existing in an audible frequency band, and is caused to switch between a notice sound generation by dynamic speaker and a notice sound generation by parametric speaker, based on vehicular information. Under a predetermined low vehicle speed, a notice sound is generated in both (i) an area ahead of a vehicle and distant from the vehicle, and (ii) an area surrounding the vehicle. When the vehicle speed increases, a notice sound is generated at a position ahead of the vehicle and more distant from the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20130249680
Abstract: A vehicle presence notification apparatus includes a speaker and a disconnection determination section. The speaker generates a notification sound to outside a vehicle when a driving condition to notify of presence of the vehicle is satisfied. The disconnection determination section determines a disconnection state of the speaker based on an electromotive force generated by the speaker at a time when a vehicle horn mounted in the vehicle is activated.

  • Publication number: 20130085081
Abstract: Disclosed are a method of detecting the presence or absence of a single nucleotide polymorphism of a gene, for prediction of the risk of developing drug-induced lung injury, or for improving a therapeutic method, and a kit for carrying out the detection method. The detection method is characterized by comparing an ABCB1 gene in a biological sample with a wild-type ABCB1 gene to detect the presence or absence of a single nucleotide polymorphism in the ABCB1 gene in the biological sample, in particular, by determining the nucleotide at position 3751 of the CDS of the ABCB1 gene. The kit comprises an oligonucleotide probe which specifically binds to a single nucleotide polymorphism in an ABCB1 gene under selective binding conditions, or an oligonucleotide primer which amplifies a nucleic acid sequence comprising a single nucleotide polymorphism in an ABCB1 gene.

  • Patent number: 8296081
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for obtaining material information regarding steel sheet for shipping over the entire length of the steel sheet for shipping without spending too much time and effort, providing detailed material information in large volumes to a user through a computer and network, and having the user utilize the same. Specifically, it estimates the mechanical properties of temper rolled steel sheet based on the actual rolling data in a skinpass mill installed at the exit side of the continuous annealing line or galvanization facility and provides the estimated mechanical properties through the host computer and network to the user of the steel sheet. The user can use the estimated material information so as to remove the parts defective in mechanical properties or change the press forming conditions of the steel sheet. Further, the user can feed back information to the steel sheet manufacturer.
