  • Patent number: 11094922
Abstract: A negative electrode active material slurry is applied to one surface of a strip-shaped negative electrode core so as to form multiple lines of the negative electrode active material slurry, the lines extending in an X direction and being spaced from each other in a Y direction. Subsequently, while keeping the negative electrode core aloft, first hot air is blown toward the negative electrode core from at least a lower side in a vertical direction, and then, while keeping the negative electrode core aloft, first cooling air having a lower temperature than the first hot air is blown toward the negative electrode core from at least the lower side in the vertical direction so as to decrease the temperature of the negative electrode core to 40° C. or lower.

  • Publication number: 20200274150
Abstract: A negative electrode includes a negative electrode protecting layer that is disposed so as to cover a negative electrode active material layer formed on at least one surface of a negative electrode core in a thickness direction and that has higher electrical resistance than the negative electrode active material layer. The negative electrode active material layer includes a first surface and a second surface. The first surface is formed in a region extending from an edge at one end to a boundary 300 ?m away from the edge in a width direction. The second surface is positioned closer than the first surface to the other end. Regarding the negative electrode protecting layer, the average value of the first thickness of a first portion covering the first surface is 1.7 or more times larger than the maximum value of the second thickness of a second portion covering the second surface.

  • Patent number: 9802270
Abstract: A laser machining apparatus has a laser beam irradiation unit that includes: a pulsed laser oscillator that oscillates a pulsed laser beam at a given repetition frequency; first and second condensers that collect the pulsed laser beam oscillated by the pulsed laser oscillator; and a beam splitting unit arranged between the pulsed laser oscillator and the first and second condensers to split the pulsed laser beam oscillated by the pulsed laser oscillator and direct the resultant beams alternately toward the first and second condensers. The beam splitting unit includes a photoelastic modulator that has a piezo element and a synthetic quartz formed in one piece and modulates the laser beam so that a polarization plane of the laser beam is alternately at 0 and 90 degrees by applying, to the piezo element, a high frequency voltage at a frequency that matches the natural frequency of the synthetic quartz.
