    Abstract: A tape recording and reproduction apparatus includes a post base with a tape guide post, a leaf spring member pressing the post base against a post base catcher, and a leaf spring member control part. The leaf spring member control part presses the leaf spring member so that a gap is formed between the post base catcher and the leaf spring member, and removes the press on the leaf spring member so that the leaf spring member presses the post base against the post base catcher. The leaf spring member control part presses the leaf spring member so as to form the gap when the post base moves to the side of the post base catcher opposing the leaf spring member. The leaf spring member control part removes the press on the leaf spring member when the post base enters the gap.

    Abstract: There is provided a magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus using a plastic chassis having side walls integrally formed with a bottom plate. A cassette holder holding the cassette case moves between a loaded position and an ejected position. A pair of pins are protrudingly provided on side surfaces of the cassette holder. One pin of the pair of pins is provided on a left side surface, and the other pin is provided on a right side surface. The plastic chassis has a bottom plate and left and right side walls formed perpendicularly on the left side and the right side of the bottom plate. The bottom plate and the left and right side walls are integrally formed with each other. A pair of slots are formed on the left and right side walls, one slot of the pair of slots being formed on the left side wall, the other slot being formed on the right side wall. The cassette holder is movably supported by the pins being inserted into the respective slots between the left side wall and the right side wall.

    Abstract: A plastic chassis is provided in which a shaft is fixed to the chassis even if a snap fitting integrally formed with the chassis is broken. An arm member having a claw portion is formed around a through hole formed in the chassis. A protrusion having a top surface located a predetermined distance lower than a top surface of the arm member is formed around the through hole. When the shaft is inserted into the through hole, the claw portion engages with an annular groove formed near the end of the shaft so as to fix the shaft to the chassis. When the arm member is broken, a slit washer is engaged with the annular groove so as to fix the shaft to the chassis. The slit washer is disposed on the top surface of the protrusion.
