Patent number: 10770933Abstract: A stator fixing structure is configured such that a projection (2) is provided to project from the outer periphery of a stator (1), which is formed by stacking a plurality of plate-shaped members, in a radial direction while a fastening member (11) is inserted into a fastening member inserting hole (3) formed in the projection (2) so as to fix the stator (1) to a frame (8), and the outer peripheral surface of the stator (1) except the projection (2) is fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the frame (8) by shrink fitting. A dent (4) is formed at the root of the projection (2), thereby reducing the proportion of the projection (2) in the periphery of the stator and increasing the contact area between the frame (8) and the stator (1) for the shrink fit part (7). Thus, the stator (1) can be effectively fastened to the frame (8).Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 2013Date of Patent: September 8, 2020Assignee: MEIDENSHA CORPORATIONInventors: Yoshiharu Naito, Koji Nagata, Takashi Abe

Patent number: 10025525Abstract: The access from a host computer to a storage system is continued before and after data migration in the storage system. A first controller allocates a first logical storage area to a specific virtual storage area, stores first association information indicating the specific virtual storage area and the first logical storage area, and sends the first association information to the host computer. The first controller and the second controller perform data migration from the first logical storage area to a second logical storage area. The first controller releases the first logical storage area from the specific virtual storage area and reflects the release in the first association information. The second controller allocates the second logical storage area to the specific virtual storage area, stores second association information indicating the specific virtual storage area and the second logical storage area, and sends the second association information to the host computer.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2014Date of Patent: July 17, 2018Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Naoyuki Masuda, Hiroshi Nasu, Tomohiro Kawaguchi, Takahiro Kito, Koji Nagata, Ran Ogata
