  • Publication number: 20120019719
Abstract: A second video encoded buffer stores encoded data of a second channel at time of a single display. A buffer control unit specifies, at time of a switching from the single display to a simultaneous display, a key frame which is a start frame for decoding in the encoded data of the second channel and has a time stamp, which is earlier than a broadcasting time of the encoded data and also is closest to the broadcasting time. Moreover, the buffer control unit generates decoded data by decoding the encoded data of the second channel stored in the second encoded buffer from the specified key frame. A second video decoding unit and a second video output unit start a reproduction of the decoded data when the time stamp is synchronized with the broadcasting time.

  • Publication number: 20080187052
Abstract: A block dividing section divides a video frame into plural pieces of block data of a predetermined size and outputs the plural pieces block data sequentially. A block coding section codes the block data. A coding amount computing section computes a coding margin amount on the basis of a coding generation amount in the block coding section. A distance computing section computes a block distance indicating a distance between an arbitrary point of fixation predetermined in the video frame and to-be-coded block data. When a coding amount insufficiency determining section determines that the coding margin amount is smaller than an insufficiency threshold value and a coding suppression determining section determines that the block distance is larger than a distance threshold value, a coding amount suppressing section suppresses the coding generation amount in the block coding section according to the coding suppression amount.

  • Publication number: 20080002774
Abstract: A first motion vector is searched for based on a block retrieved from a first reference frame, while a second motion vector is searched for based on a block retrieved from a second reference frame. A combination of a block in the first reference frame and a block in the second reference frame is determined so that the correlation of an averaged block of a block retrieved from the first reference frame and a block retrieved from the second reference frame with the object block is the highest, to search for a motion vector pair based on the determined combination. A motion vector or motion vector pair highest in similarity is selected among the first and second motion vectors and the motion vector pair.

  • Publication number: 20060182182
Abstract: An image processing system includes a memory management unit and an image decoding apparatus. The memory management unit receives first information regarding control of a frame memory, releases a frame in the frame memory in accordance with the first information, and outputs second information indicating the released frame. The image decoding apparatus decodes encoded image data into an image, and then stores the decoded image in the frame that the second information indicates. The image decoding apparatus then determines, according to the encoded image data, which image among the images stored in the frame memory is not to be referenced in decoding process, and outputs, as the first information, information regarding release of the frame in which that non-referenced image is stored.

  • Patent number: 7074354
Abstract: In coloration of a shaped article composed of a curable resin, the addition operation can be reliably conducted and a reliable coloration effect can be obtained in both the single-color addition and in the multicolor addition. A liquid-phase, non-colored photo-curable resin is cured by irradiation with laser light and a lowermost layer 5n is formed. A liquid-phase, photo-curable resin is applied on the upper surface thereof and a colored layer 5n-1 comprising a cured non-colored region and a liquid-phase pool region is formed. A color ink is drop-wise added to the liquid-phase pool region. The pool region is irradiated with laser light and cured to the same hardness as that of the non-colored region. A block-like coating film having the prescribed thickness if formed from the surface coating film produced by the color ink covering the pool region. As a result, the formation of the next layer (colored layer 5n-2) on the upper surface of colored layer 5n-1 can be conducted without obstacles.

  • Publication number: 20050097530
Abstract: In an identical function definition generation determining step of a template compilation method, dependency between a function definition code and a template parameter is analyzed, and when there is no dependency, a common function is defined and a plurality of function definitions obtained before defining the common function are deleted in a function definition sharing step. Thereafter, a function call obtained before defining the common function is replaced with a call of the common function in a function call replacing step. Accordingly, among a plurality of function definition codes generated from a template, function definition codes generated as the identical code are shared, so as to reduce the code size that generally increases due to template facilities.
