    Abstract: There is provided a temperature measuring device capable of achieving cost reduction even in the case where the same is a multichannel temperature measuring device. The temperature-measuring device comprises a thermocouple having two dissimilar metal wires, ends thereof, on one-side, being joined with each other, and the other ends thereof, being connected to one pair of contact terminals, respectively, a unit of a temperature-measurement set made up by joining together a plurality of the thermocouples, and a reference junction compensation circuit provided for every unit of the temperature-measurement set, wherein at least one of the reference junction compensation circuits of the temperature-measuring device is left out while the other reference junction compensation circuits of the temperature-measuring device are removed upon a plurality of the units of the temperature-measurement sets being disposed in series.

    Abstract: There is provided an invention to implement a multichannel analyzer capable of executing high-precision measurement in short measurement time. The invention is an improvement of a multichannel analyzer for receiving pulse signals having respective peak values corresponding to radiation energy, and generating a histogram by selecting the respective peak values of the pulse signals on the basis of a lower limit value, and an upper limit value. The multichannel analyzer is characterized in comprising a conversion means for converting a voltage level of the pulse signal into a digital data block expressed in the same unit as that for the peak value at a predetermined sampling rate, a peak detector for detecting the peak value out of the digital data blocks of the conversion means, and a histogram analyzer for finding the number of occurrence times for each of the peak values, as selected after detection by the peak detector.

A conductive layer is formed on the surface of the insulating member to be electrically connected to a conductive part of the terminal. The terminal is constructed in such a manner that the conductive layer is detached from the counterpart terminal at a final stage of disengagement of the terminals. With this arrangement, arc discharge at the disengagement of the terminals is suppressed.

    Abstract: A method for preventing microorganism multiplication, including using a gas containing a low concentration of ozone and a high concentration of ions, so that the multiplication of microorganisms can be safely and fully prevented by an additive effect of the ozone and ions. The generation of ozone is suppressed by reducing the discharge current in the ionization chamber using a pulse converter, which is provided to control the current flowing at the time of discharge, when generating the ions and ozone in the ionization chamber. Ions are produced in the ionization chamber in a high concentration to produce and supply ionized gas containing a low concentration of ozone and a high concentration of ions, which prevents microorganism multiplication on the objects.

A CAD apparatus creates before- and after-machining workpiece shape information based on before- and after-machining models of the workpiece. Information regarding the material of the workpiece and stage of machining to be applied to the workpiece is entered via an input unit. Based on the information from the CAD apparatus and the input unit, a machining determination apparatus determines the optimum machining information for machining the workpiece. The optimum machining information and the information from the CAD apparatus is inputted into a CAM apparatus, which creates NC data, applied to the workpiece via a machine tool.

    Abstract: A conveyor system that performs a conveyance by using pallets for loading green tires and device for conveying these pallets, installs a storage area for storing pallets as they are on the way to convey, and uses robots for transferring the green tires from a pallet to a tire vulcanizer. Pallets being of such a type as to be able to load two or more green tires for planar placement and a conveyor devise is desired to be able to get under these pallets for lifting up. Furthermore, a visual sensor provided on a robot reads at least one of a mark concerning the specification of a green tire, a mark for its positioning on a pallet, and a mark for its positioning on a tire vulcanizer, identifies a green tire to be conveyed, and automatically performs a positioning in transferring the green tire from the relevant pallet and a positioning in transferring the green tire to a tire vulcanizer in the conveyor system.

The sealing material is suitably applied to gap between steel plates joined to each other by a non-contact way.Preferred polyvinylchloride type resin is a blend of a particulate resin having a mean particle size of 2 to 3 .mu.m mixed with a particulate resin having a mean particle size of 20 to 30 .mu.m at a mixing weight ratio of 1:1 to 3:1. Preferably, the plasticizer is a high molecular plasticizer, and the powdery filler is one having an oil absorption of 40 to 50 cc/100 g.

The two areas in each of the engine room and the luggage compartment are divided by longitudinal centerlines of the two successive bodies. The first and second sealing robots are further operated to apply the sealing material to the areas in the engine room and luggage compartment, respectively, which areas have not been sealed.
