  • Patent number: 6671508
Abstract: A mobile communication terminal having a phonebook with information corresponding to alternative communication services. The information can be entered remotely from another mobile communication terminal. When a sender selects a recipient and a service from the phonebook, the mobile phone displays the information with the phonebook. The sender selects the most convenient and available communication service for the selected recipient. In an alternative embodiment, a mobile communication network maintains communication statuses of a plurality of mobile communication terminals in a status database. Upon detection of a status change of one of the mobile communication terminals, a notifying portion notifies the other mobile communication terminals of the status change.

  • Publication number: 20030128534
Abstract: The position of a connector 36 in the forward direction (Ya direction) is determined by having front end surfaces 36f1, 36g1 of protrusions 36f, 36g of the connector that protrude from the left side surface and the right side surface of the connector, respectively, contacting vertical wall portions 72a1, 74a1 of positioning concave portions 72a, 74a of supporting plates 72, 74 of a housing of the shield case. The position of the connector in the backward direction (Yb direction) is determined by having a back surface 36h of the connector 36 contacting a protrusion 70a of a dividing plate 70. The motion of the connector in the right-and-left directions (Xa-Xb directions) is controlled by having the left side surface and the right side surface of the connector facing the supporting plates, respectively, in close proximity.

  • Publication number: 20030128535
Abstract: A shielding case for an electronic apparatus is provided. The shielding case houses a printed circuit board on which an electronic component and an output connector are mounted. The shielding case defines a recessed portion by its case wall. The recessed portion is provided with an opening located in a lateral direction from the mounting position of the output connector. The recessed portion is provided with an opening located in an upward direction from the mounting position of the output connector. The shielding case allows insertion of a cable either from above or sideways relative to the connector. Further, an aperture is provided in the case wall. The. aperture is at a position that faces a side surface of the output connector when the-connector is in the mounting position. It becomes possible to selectively employ one of a horizontal-insertion type output connector and a vertical-insertion type output connector.

  • Patent number: 6582785
Abstract: A front panel 11 has a plurality of caulking pieces 16 each of which is formed in a tongue-like shape defined by a pair of slits 17 in a side edge portion 11c of the front panel. The caulking piece is inwardly bent at its base end portion 16a and bent sideward at its distal end portion 16c to form a substantially L-shape. Side panels 12 whose forward end portions are abutted on an inner face 11a of the front panel 11. The side panels are formed along the forward end portions 12a with caulking holes 18 into which the caulking pieces 16 are adapted to be engaged. The front panel 11 is joined to a mount panel 2 in substantially intimate contact along its whole surface. The front panel 11 and the mount panel 2 are formed into an integral structure, whereby the mechanical strength in a direction of the thickness of the front panel can be maintained.

  • Publication number: 20020065718
Abstract: When a new customer appears in a shop, the customer is registered in an advertisement server 1 with shop terminal 2. When the customer registers an advertiser in his buddy list, an advertisement is distributed to user terminal 4. Namely, by registering an advertisement of the advertiser in buddy list system 4 as if the advertisement of the advertiser is status information of the advertiser, the advertisement is distributed to the user terminal 4 via the buddy list system 3. To persuade a customer to register an advertiser in his buddy list, the advertiser provides an incentive for a customer registering the advertiser in his buddy list (hereinafter referred to as registration customer). Incentive is, for example, adding a premium to points granted to the customer according to purchase history.

  • Patent number: 5357424
Abstract: The present invention provides a dynamic model parameter identification system consisting of a parameter classifying part and a motion planning part. The parameter classifying part approximates the respective links forming the manipulator by means of a symmetrical and homogeneous virtual solid link, calculates the inertial parameters, and finally classifies the calculated inertial parameters into parameter groups. The motion planning part calculates the condition number for the parameter coefficient sub-matrix, and calculates the number of equilibriums which is shown by the quotient of the maximum and minimum values of the vector normal of the rows of the coefficient sub-matrix. The motion planning section then sets the motion for parameter identification so that the condition number and number of equilibriums are both below predetermined values.

  • Patent number: 4796112
Abstract: An actuator which carries a magnetic head of a disk memory seeks a track on the disk by being actuated by a pair of trapezoidal drive currents, which have no or less power spectrum at the frequency coinciding with the mechanical resonance frequency of the positioning mechanisms. A trapezoidal waveform whose ratio of an upper side to a bottom side is adjusted depending on seek stroke. The mechanical resonance frequency may be within the range of the power spectrum of the trapezoidal drive currents so long as it coincides with the characteristic frequency with a zero power spectrum. A constant velocity region which has no current flowing into the actuator between the first positive trapezoidal current and the second negative trapezoidal current is provided when the seek stroke is long.

  • Patent number: 4544972
Abstract: A magnetic disc type memory device swinging actuator is constituted by a plurality of a driving assemblies juxtaposed on a stationary shaft and extending in the opposite direction. Each driving assembly include a head arm, a magnetic head mounted on one end of the head arm, a coil supporting member for supporting a flat coil and extending in the opposite direction to the head arm, and first and second permanent magnets spaced from the coil in an axial direction of the shaft and also spaced in a direction of arrangement of the flat coil. The first and second permanent magnets are magnetized in the axial direction of the shaft so that poles of opposite polarities confront the flat coil. The first and second permanent magnets are mounted on a common yoke and the flat coils are disposed in a closed magnetic flux path including the first and second permanent magnets and the yokes.
