  • Patent number: 7053004
Abstract: A semiconductor device is formed using a BARC (bottom antireflective coating) that minimizes the formation of fences around the via holes. The BARC is formed from an organic antireflective layer over an inorganic antireflective layer. The organic antireflective layer also covers the internal surface of the via hole. Subsequent treatment with dilute aqueous or organic solvent leaves a thinned organic antireflective layer and a plug of organic material at the bottom of the via hole. The resulting semiconductor is free from the via hole fence formation that characterizes the conventional art technology.

  • Publication number: 20050222693
Abstract: A sensor controller is disclosed which transmits large-capacity data such as waveform data and image data within a short time (in rapid cycles, for example) and makes possible various collaborative operations using the transmitted data. A control unit includes a programmable logic circuit and a CPU to control the operation of the sensor controller. A unit connector can be used to connect other sensor controllers. An inter-unit path constitutes a signal transmission path between the control unit and the unit connector and includes a sensing data transmission path between the programmable logic circuit and the unit connector. In the case where another sensor controller is connected to the unit connector, the sensing data can be transmitted between the programmable logic circuit of the local sensor controller and the programmable logic circuit of the particular another sensor controller.

  • Patent number: 6784607
Abstract: In a color cathode ray tube in which a shadow mask and an inner magnetic shield are supported by a mask frame and an electron shield is provided in the mask frame, at least a part of the electron shield is made to have a smaller anhysteretic magnetic permeability than the shadow mask, the mask frame and the inner magnetic shield when an applied magnetic field is 800 A/m (10 Oe). Since the magnetic resistance of the electron shield increases, it is possible to reduce a leakage magnetic field from a tube-axis-side edge of the electron shield. Thus, a color cathode ray tube that reduces mis-landing due to a terrestrial magnetism and has no color displacement can be provided.

  • Patent number: 6763131
Abstract: A mechanism to produce projection images 40A-40G representing a model extraction region and an image sensing region is incorporated in an image sensing unit 1 of an image processing apparatus. A control unit 2 receives an image from image sensing unit 1 to calculate density deviation within the model extraction region. The calculated result is output to a level display unit 27. When the operator determines the position of image sensing unit 1 so that projection images 40A, 40B and 40C representing the model extraction region are projected distinctly on the pattern of the subject to be registered and a high level value is displayed by level display unit 27 and depresses a teach button switch 30, image data within the current model extraction region is registered as the model image.

  • Publication number: 20040032198
Abstract: A color picture tube device in which a lens is generated in an area through which a plurality of electron beams pass, so as to be positioned, in a tube axis direction, between a phosphor screen and an end of a core nearest the electron gun. • Patent number: 6657656
Abstract: A plurality of BGA packages are formed in a work, and alignment marks are put at least on the top and rearmost ones of the BGA packages. The top BGA package is stopped in an image pick-up area, and an alignment mark image and a ball image are picked up while relative movement between the work and a camera is started. Ball images of the second and the following BGA packages are picked up while the relative movement between the camera and the work is continued, the relative movement is stopped when a ball image of the last BGA package is picked up, and an alignment mark image of the rearmost BGA package is picked up after the relative movement is stopped. The positions of balls are calculated while the posture of the work as a whole is taken into consideration, and judgment is made as to whether the positions of balls are good or bad.

  • Patent number: 6030707
Abstract: The present invention aims to solve problems involved in the formation of a conductive or insulating layer in a pattern form by photolithography, i.e., an environmental problem associated with handling of a solvent and a problem associated with wastewater treatment in the development with an aqueous alkaline solution. A method for forming a conductive layer (an anode bus 3) or an insulating layer (a barrier 1) on a glass substrate by photolithography using a photosensitive slurry solution prepared by mixing a low-melting glass powder as a binder and a conductive or insulating powder into a PVA-based, water-soluble photosensitive solution, wherein the content of B.sub.2 O.sub.3 component in the whole low-melting glass powder is closely regulated to not more than 6% by weight. This enables coating without gelation of PVA.

  • Patent number: 6008908
Abstract: A telephone line interface section, which has a selector switch for selectively connecting two of a facsimile section, a telephone line and an information unit such as a personal computer, is provided. The telephone line interface section is provided with a telephone line monitor which detects an ON/OFF state of a start switch for directing the facsimile section to be operated and detects existence or non-existence of a DC loop current which is a connecting signal at the time when the facsimile section is connected to an external telephone switchboard via the telephone line. The selector switch connects the facsimile section to the information unit based upon the telephone line monitor when the start switch is in the ON state and the connecting signal is not detected. As a result, in the case where the facsimile section is used as a scanner and printer of the information unit, the facsimile section can be simply connected to the information unit.
