  • Publication number: 20130268309
Abstract: Operation information which is provided from a construction DB server, assists an operation relating to a cable to which the operation is allowed, and is previously associated with a cable ID, is downloaded to a PDA which an operator carries. An RFID tag reader of a PDA is used to read information of an RFID integrated with a name indication card attached to a helmet possessed by the operator, and to read a cable ID of a cable from an index seal provided with an RFID and attached to an end of the cable. On the basis of the cable ID, operation information regarding the corresponding cable is acquired from among the downloaded operation information, and is displayed on a display means of the PDA.

  • Patent number: 8144012
Abstract: A cable installation support system capable of saving the labor of, and speeding up, work and check work while eliminating human error has terminals with a fixed pitch, and a terminal block cover having RFIDs with the same pitch as the pitch of the terminals of the terminal block. A terminal is provided with an R FID reader that reads identification information stored in the RFIDs. Also, in the terminal, identification information in RFID tags attached to core wires of a cable and terminals to which the core wires are attached are associated with each other, and predetermined RFIDs attached to the terminal block cover and the respective terminals of the terminal block are associated with each other. When an RFID tag and an RFID in the terminal block cover are read by the RFID reader, the terminal determines whether or not the core wire is connected to a correct terminal.

  • Patent number: 8010999
Abstract: According to a cable installation support and management system of the present invention, each worker downloads the operation information which supports operations on cables authorized for use onto the portable terminal carried by the worker, the operation information being associated in advance with cable identification information and provided by the server. Then, the worker reads the cable identification information about a cable from the cabling data card attached to the end of the cable using the reading device of the portable terminal. Based on the cable identification information, the worker acquires operation information about the appropriate cable from the downloaded operation information and displays the acquired operation information on the display device of the portable terminal. This allows the worker to perform necessary operations by referring to the operation information displayed on the display device.
