  • Patent number: 8221872
Abstract: An easy-open end comprising a resin-coated metal plate obtained by coating a metal substrate with a anti-blocking agent-containing biaxially drawn film via a primer, wherein an important feature resides in that the anti-blocking agent in the biaxially drawn film is of a spherical shape having an average particle size of 0.5 to 2.5 ?m and an average particle size ratio (long diameter/short diameter) in a range of 1.0 to 1.2, and is contained at a ratio of 0.05 to 0.5% by weight in the biaxially drawn film. Even without forming a top-coat layer, therefore, the film is not scratched or the forming-tool is not damaged by the anti-blocking agent that adheres and deposits on the forming tool. Besides, the resin coating favorably adheres to the metal plate offering excellent advantage in production and in economy.

  • Publication number: 20120160364
Abstract: An electric power tool “A” operates a working part 5 by repeating rotation of a motor 4 in a normal direction and in a reverse direction one or more times. The motor 4 includes a brushless motor. Sensors H for detecting a position of a rotor 15 are provided on the motor 4 so as to be advanced by an electrical angle of 30°±?° from an intermediate position between respective stator teeth 16 in a direction of the normal rotation of the rotor 15. A control part 20 for controlling the rotation of the motor 4 controls a driving signal of the motor 4 based on the results of detection by the sensors H. Moreover, the control part 20 selects a detection signal of the sensors H so that relation between the rotor 15 and the detection signal of the sensors H is equivalent in either of the normal rotation and the reverse rotation of the rotor 15.

  • Publication number: 20110024146
Abstract: A hammering tool includes, within its tool main body, a piston which reciprocates by using a motor as its drive force, a hammering member which carries out its hammering operation in linking with the reciprocating motion of the piston, and an intermediate member which transmits a hammering force of the hammering member to a top end tool mounted on the top end of the tool main body. The tool main body further includes a measuring device which measures a hammering state of the hammering member and a control device which controls the number of rotations of the motor. The control device, according to measurement results of the measuring device, determines the limit number of times of hammering where the hammering member becomes unable to follow the reciprocating motion of the piston, and thus controls the number of rotations of the motor.

  • Patent number: 7513844
Abstract: In a tensioner for a timing chain, a spring-biased plunger for urging a shoe into sliding engagement with the chain is temporarily held in a retracted condition, prior to installation of the tensioner, by a stopper having a pin that extends through a hole in the tensioner housing and engages a grove formed in the plunger. The stopper is bent so that its handle extends away form the pin axis at an angle greater than zero but not greater than 90°. Removal of the stopper from the tensioner can be carried out by rotating the handle to avoid interference with engine components in the vicinity of the tensioner.

  • Patent number: 7496157
Abstract: In an apparatus for detecting a distance and improving the SN ratio of received signals, an angular frequency (?1) of sinusoidal wave signals generated by a sinusoidal wave generator is brought into synchronism with an angular frequency (?) of burst pulse signals, and signals received by a transmitter/receiver microphone are orthogonally demodulated by using sinusoidal wave signals of the synchronized angular frequency. A microcomputer adds up the vectors of the demodulated signals for only a period of time equal to a section of transmitting the transmission waves from the transmitter/receiver microphone. A distance to a body is detected by using the received signals of which the vectors are added up.

  • Patent number: 6396225
Abstract: For detecting commutation timing of an inverter when operating a DC brushless motor under a starting thereof or a light load condition, with certainty, a micro-computer generates driving signals so as to drive switching elements of the inverter by PWM signals of those driving signals, in a predetermined order by every turn-on interval, thereby supplying driving current to the DC brushless motor, wherein a timing for exchange between the turn-on intervals (i.e., the commutation timing) is detected by detection of level of magnetic pole position detecting signals upon a basis of the PWM signals.

  • Patent number: 6075328
Abstract: A motor drive apparatus and an air-conditioner using the motor control apparatus has a feature which allows it to gradually increase a dc voltage value to a predetermined value when starting the switching operation of a chopper circuit by dc voltage control thereof, and when stopping the switching operation of the chopper circuit to be able to gradually decrease the dc voltage value to a predetermined value. Further, the dc voltage command value is adjusted so as to make it possible to maintain a preferred value of dc voltage. Thereby, fluctuation in the number of revolutions of the motor can be prevented even if the converter is started or stopped while the motor is operating, thereby allowing the motor drive apparatus and air-conditioner using the motor control apparatus of the invention to be operated at their maximum capacities.

  • Patent number: 5929591
Abstract: For achieving an air conditioner being applicable to various a-c source voltages in common and operative with high power factor by suppressing generation of high harmonics, an a-c source voltage from an a-c electric power source 1 is rectified in full-wave by a rectifier 2, and a d-c source voltage Ed of an inverter 13 is obtained by being charged in a condenser 5. Here, there are a-c source voltages of 100 V and 200 V, and a divided voltage Ed1 of the d-c voltage of the condenser 5 is selected when the a-c source voltage is 100 V, a divided voltage Ed2 (here, Ed1>Ed1) of the d-c voltage of the condenser 5 is selected when the a-c source voltage is 200 V, respectively by an exchange switch 18, and is used as a d-c voltage Ed' for controlling on and off of a switch element 6.
