    Abstract: A nuclear magnetic resonance imaging method and apparatus, capable of obtaining images with high spatial resolution arid S/N ratio, reducing the influence of the inhomogeneity of the static magnetic field and the chemical shift artifacts, and improving the contrast in the T.sub.2 enhanced image and T.sub.1 enhanced image. The imaging uses the pulse sequence, including: application of RF pulses and slicing gradient magnetic field for exciting a desired region of the body to be examined; application of reading gradient magnetic fields which regularly fluctuate between a negative value and a positive value; application of initial phase encoding gradient magnetic field before the reading gradient magnetic field is applied; application of a predetermined pulse shaped phase encoding gradient magnetic field every time the reading gradient magnetic field changes polarity; and collection of the echo signals emitted from the desired region every time the reading gradient magnetic field changes polarity.

The imidazotriazole cyan coupler is of the following structural formula (I): ##STR1## where R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; R.sub.2 represents an electron attracting group having a Hammett's constant value .sigma.p of 0.35 or ore; X represents a hydrogen atom or a group released by coupling with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine color developing agent; and R.sub.1 or R.sub.2 may also be a divalent group forming a dimer or higher polymer, or they each may be bonded to a polymer chain to form a homopolymer or copolymer.

The measuring device includes a magnet unit and a coil unit for generating magnetic fields, and the coil unit includes a coil assembly for generating gradient magnetic fields and a coil assembly for generating a high-frequency magnetic field and detecting a nuclear magnetic resonance signal.

    Abstract: A dry image-forming process is disclosed. The dry image-forming process of the invention comprises heat developing a light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least a photosensitive silver halide, a binder, and a dye releasing redox compound said dye releasing redox compound being reductive to the photosensitive silver halide and being capable of releasing a hydrophilic dye upon reaction with the photosensitive silver halide under heating, after or simultaneously with imagewise exposure, to form imagewise a mobile hydrophilic dye and heating, after simultaneously with the heat development, the light-sensitive material together with a dye-fixing layer in the presence of a hydrophilic thermal solvent to thereby transfer the mobile hydrophilic dye onto the dye-fixing layer to form a dye image and fix the dye image. The heat development is carried out in a state containing substantially no water, and the whole of steps are carried out without particular supplying a solvent.

The control section has a memory storing timing data and event codes specifying event data. The control section successively produces timing signals and event codes according to the timing data. The timing signals are transmitted to the functional units over the bus. Each functional unit reads event data from its memory according to the incoming event codes and controls its gates according to the event data in synchronism with the timing signals.
