A plurality of editing instructions for each editing item is received. Editing processing is performed on an image based on each of the editing instructions. A history of each of the editing instructions is recorded into a predetermined recording area. A history selected based on a different condition between a first editing item for which each of the editing instructions is currently received and a second editing item that is other than the first editing item is displayed on a screen. The selected history is from a history recorded in the predetermined recording area.

Abstract: A communication apparatus capable of controlling an image capture apparatus is disclosed. The communication apparatus receives live image data from an image capture apparatus in which information regarding a predetermined parameter related to a capturing of the live image is added. When the reception of the live image data is restricted, the communication apparatus restricts an instruction to change the value of the predetermined parameter. This enables to prevent the occurrence of a difference between an actual state of the image capture apparatus and a state assumed by a user of the communication apparatus, in a state where a moving image captured by the image capture apparatus is not displayed on the communication apparatus.

Further, when it is determined that the positioning method is described, the type of the positioning method is determined. Then an icon for discrimination of the presence/absence of positioning method and type of the positioning method is superimposed on a thumbnail of an image indicated with a corresponding image file.
