  • Publication number: 20240005189
Abstract: Techniques for providing an optimized quantum computing model are described. In operation, a gate teleportation circuit for a predetermined number of qubits is obtained. The gate teleportation circuit is then segmented into multiple sub-circuits. A gate teleportation operation is then performed on each of the multiple sub-circuits wherein the gate teleportation operation on each of the multiple sub-circuits is performed based on the at least one qubit of a given sub-circuit and an output of a gate teleportation operation performed on a sub-circuit which is previous to the given sub-circuit. An output of the gate teleportation operation performed on the last sub-circuit from the multiple sub-circuits is then measured.

  • Publication number: 20240005578
Abstract: The disclosure describes one or more embodiments of systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media that generate a transferred hairstyle image that depicts a person from a source image having a hairstyle from a target image. For example, the disclosed systems utilize a face-generative neural network to project the source and target images into latent vectors. In addition, in some embodiments, the disclosed systems quantify (or identify) activation values that control hair features for the projected latent vectors of the target and source image. Furthermore, in some instances, the disclosed systems selectively combine (e.g., via splicing) the projected latent vectors of the target and source image to generate a hairstyle-transfer latent vector by using the quantified activation values.

  • Publication number: 20240001155
Abstract: Senescent cells are implicated in aspects of age-related decline in health and may contribute to certain diseases. Senescent cells also limit the viability of cells in cell culture. The invention includes methods of using a stressor (e.g., shock waves, pneumatics, hydraulics, magnetic elements, etc.) to reverse senescence. In embodiments, cells are exposed to ultrasound to reverse senescence. Ultrasound can be used to administered in short duration pressure waves to cells to create mechanical stresses. These conditions are safe for normal tissue and do not adversely influence their function. The stressor can rejuvenate senescent cells so that they are phenotypically normal. Additional embodiments include methods of treating senescence-associated diseases and disorders by administering a stressor such as low frequency ultrasound (LFU). The methods described herein can also be used for slowing the aging process and/or reducing signs of aging.

  • Publication number: 20240004879
Abstract: The disclosure herein describes analyzing queries and dynamically modifying those queries based on the analysis. An indication that a query is to be executed by a first process is detected. It is determined that an analysis results data store does not include an active analysis result for the query using a query identifier of the query and, as a result, a modified instance of the query is generated using a modification pattern. The query and the modified instance of the query are analyzed based on a performance metric using a second process that is independent of the first process. An active analysis result of the query is recorded based on the analysis, wherein the analysis result indicates whether future executions of the query should be modified using the modification pattern. Further, in some examples, analysis results expire, such that associated queries are reanalyzed to generate active analysis results periodically.

  • Publication number: 20240002717
Abstract: Systems and methods for selectively reducing water production in a well. The interior of the well casing is in fluid communication with a subterranean formation with a hydrocarbon-producing zone and a water-producing zone. The subterranean formation has a switchable polymer in contact with at least one of the hydrocarbon-producing zone and the water-producing zone. The switchable nature of the polymer enables a hydrophobic state and a hydrophilic state and fluid communication between the water-producing zone and the interior of the well casing is greater when the polymer is in its hydrophilic state than when the polymer is in its hydrophobic state. In its hydrophilic state, more of the polymer will invade the water-producing zone but the plugging action will not take place until it is switched to the hydrophobic state.

  • Publication number: 20240005297
Abstract: A method for facilitating payment transactions includes receiving, by a server, a flash code request indicative of a transaction amount. A flash code associated with the transaction amount is communicated by the server to the payer device. The flash code is encoded into a flash pattern at the payer device and communicated to a payee device of a payee for executing a payment transaction between the payer and the payee. A first request for the payment transaction is received by the server from the payee device. The first request includes the flash code obtained by decoding the flash pattern at the payee device. The flash code included in the first request is validated by the server. Based on successful validation of the flash code, the transaction amount is deducted from a payer account of the payer and credited to a payee account of the payee.
