Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and method for moving a list on a picture plane. The apparatus for moving a list on a picture plane includes a centripetal acceleration control module providing acceleration in the direction in which an image moves, with respect to an amount of movement of the center of the image relative to the center of a picture plane of a digital device, a movement resistance control module calculating a resistance corresponding to the provided acceleration, and applying the resistance to the image, a picture plane movement parameter control module calculating the movement speed of the image displayed on the picture plane and the distance moved by the center of the image, based on at least one of a current input tilt angle, the acceleration value, and the resistance value, thereby updating the movement speed and the distance moved by the center of the image.

Abstract: An apparatus and method to tag ID in photos by utilizing geographical positions is provided. The apparatus to tag a photo with an ID based on a relative physical position includes a pose calculation module to calculate the pose of a camera in space photographing subjects, a photographing angle calculation module to calculate an angle at which each of the subjects is photographed, by using the calculated pose information and camera information, a coordinates calculation module to obtain the calculated photographing angle and the predetermined ID information of the subjects and to calculate the relative distance and coordinates between the subjects, a valid subject selection module to identify the subjects located within the photographing angle by using the calculated relative distance and coordinates, and an image tagging module to tag the photographed image ID information of the identified subjects.

Abstract: A system, method and medium for browsing media content using meta data, in which media content stored in the system is efficiently browsed using meta data of media content currently in use and media content related meta data. The system includes a media reproducing unit to reproduce media content having corresponding meta data, a root category generating unit to generate at least one root category from meta data corresponding to the media content currently in use, and a sub-category generating unit to generate at least one sub-category of a root category selected by a user from among the at least one root category, based on the meta data.

Abstract: A method of navigating through audio files and an apparatus for playing back audio files using the method are provided. The apparatus for playing back audio files includes an input module which receives from a user a command to switch the apparatus to a navigation mode, a storage module which stores a plurality of audio files, each audio file comprising a highlight section, a control module which extracts the audio files from the storage module in response to the command received by the input module and plays back the highlight sections of the audio files while adjusting a volume level for each of the audio files, and an output module which outputs to the user the highlight sections of the audio files played back by the control module.
