  • Publication number: 20240067612
Abstract: Disclosed are compounds of Formula (I): or pharmaceutically acceptable salts or solvates thereof, wherein R1, R3, X, Y, Z, and W are as defined herein. The compounds are, for example, inhibitors of WRN helicase and useful in treating a proliferative disease, such as cancer.

  • Publication number: 20110131082
Abstract: A computer system including a single, fully-integrated software program that allows an employer to assess employee performance for various jobs. The system includes a user interface having graphical inputs that allow a user to rate the quantitative and qualitative skills specific to a job. The system also allows the weighting of the quantitative and qualitative criteria based on job type and graphing such data against the market rate of such employee to determine the value of the employee to the organization. The system is available over a network and allows a user to compare the performance of one or multiple employees over a single period of time or over a longer period of time to track trends in employee performance.

  • Patent number: 6426700
Abstract: A flat magnetomechanical electronic article surveillance marker is provided having a magnetostrictive resonator and a pair of bias magnets disposed on opposite sides and adjacent the resonator to bias the resonator with a magnetic field of a preselected field strength. The pair of bias magnets and the resonator are maintained substantially parallel and coplanar with each other to form a thin, flat EAS marker. During assembly of the marker, the bias magnets can be laterally adjustable to fine-tune the resonant frequency of the marker, and to compensate for material variability. Alternately, during assembly of the marker, the bias magnets can be adjustable in length to fine-tune the resonant frequency of the marker, and to compensate for material variability.

  • Patent number: 6121879
Abstract: An EAS marker for use in a microwave-GMI article surveillance system includes a length of wire which exhibits a giant magneto-impedance effect, and deactivation elements installed along the length of the wire. The deactivation elements exhibit semi-hard ferromagnetic properties and have a triangular profile, or alternatively exhibit acute-angle corners or have edges that cross the wire at acute angles. The deactivation elements can be magnetized to disable the marker.
