  • Patent number: 11170769
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for detecting a mission changes in a conversation. A user utterance from a user device is received. The user utterance is part of a conversation with an intelligent assistant. The conversation includes preceding user utterances in pursuit of a first mission. It is determined that the user utterance indicates a mission change from the first mission to a second mission based on an application of a machine-learned model to the user utterance and the preceding user utterances. The machine-learned model has been trained repeatedly with past utterances of other users over a time period, the determining based on a certainty of the indication satisfying a certainty threshold. Responsive to the determining that the user utterance indicates the mission change from the first mission to a second mission, a reply to the user utterance is generated to further the second mission rather than the first mission.

  • Publication number: 20210229046
Abstract: Systems and methods described herein may produce a modified substrate. A process for producing a modified substrate may include providing a substrate that is 5 microns or less in thickness, ion tracking the substrate, and etching the tracked substrate with an etchant to produce a plurality of pores in the substrate. In some implementations, the substrate may be a polymer. In some implementations, the ion tracking may include controlling a flux of ions passing through the substrate to achieve a desired pore density. In some implementations, the track-etching of the substrate may create a 10% or more porosity in the substrate. In some implementations, the process may further include using the track-etched substrate as a support substrate for at least one of a single-layer graphene film, multi-layer graphene film, stack of graphene films, nanostructure of graphene flakes, or nanostructure of graphene platelets.

  • Patent number: 10922484
Abstract: An audiobook quality control system may detect and flag errors in human voice recordings of manuscripts at real-time or near real-time. The system may receive a manuscript and process the manuscript to generate a comparison document. The system may receive audio data from a recording session and may use a speech-to-text transcription tool to generate transcribed audio. Based on comparing the transcribed audio to the comparison document, the system may flag differences as errors. Additionally, the system may flag common recording errors (e.g., consistency, pronunciation, spacing issue, noise, wrong words, etc.). Based on the error types and number of errors, the system may determine to re-record specific sections of the manuscript.

  • Publication number: 20200286581
Abstract: Systems and methods for modeling a three-dimensional protein structure are disclosed. The method includes receiving a primary amino acid sequence of a three-dimensional protein, translating the primary amino acid sequence to a first vector, determining a per-residue conformation index for each amino acid residue in the primary amino acid sequence, determining a vector set for each amino acid residue in the primary amino acid sequence, and using the per-residue interaction vector set to generate a multi-dimensional matrix for the three-dimensional protein structure. The first vector includes a unique numerical descriptor value corresponding to each amino acid residue in the primary amino acid sequence. The vector set includes a plurality per-residue interaction factors corresponding to a plurality of conformation indexes for that amino acid residue.

  • Patent number: 10761906
Abstract: Examples relate to multi-device collaboration. The examples disclosed herein enable identifying, by a first computing device having a first processor, a first role to be played by the first computing device when the first computing device is connected with a second computing device having a second processor. The second computing device may play a second role when the second computing device is connected with the first computing device. The examples further enable determining, by the first computing device, when at least one predetermined triggering event occurs that causes the first role and second role to be switched such that the first role is played by the second computing device and the second role is played by the first computing device.

  • Patent number: 10635504
Abstract: Technologies for a contract platform versioned according to the set of API contracts provided. API contracts are both development-time and run-time executable components. Each such contract defines a particular set of APIs that are fully supported at run-time by a corresponding implementation module. Contract applications are written to API contracts as opposed to the monolithic APIs of a legacy platform. Such applications are “platform agnostic”.

  • Patent number: 10379878
Abstract: Some examples provide a method where based on physical identifier data relating to a set of physical identifiers associated with a customer-ordered computer system, purchase order data associated with the customer-ordered computer system is generated. The purchase order data describes a set of software items to be installed on the customer-ordered computer system. The purchase order data is stored on a datastore in association with a hardware identifier associated with the customer-ordered computer system. Subsequently, a software tool is sent to the customer-ordered computer system, where the software tool is configured to cause the customer-ordered computer system to obtain the purchase order data from the datastore based on the hardware identifier, and download the set of software items based on the purchase order data obtained from the datastore.

  • Patent number: 10265110
Abstract: A self-locking screw with a raised root is provided. The self-locking screw has a head, a distal end, and a shaft extending between the head and the distal end. The shaft includes a thread with a plurality of turns so as to define a root, the raised root extending over the root for at least a subset of the plurality of turns proximal to the head. The raised root is removably attached to the root and detaches from the root when the self-locking screw is screwed into a substrate such that the detached raised root binds between the self-locking screw and the substrate and/or becomes embedded within the substrate.

  • Patent number: 10076496
Abstract: The present invention provides organic nanoparticles that include a molecule having a Log P value of about 3 or above, an amphiphilic diblock copolymer or a surfactant, and a pharmaceutically-acceptable hydrophilic polymer. The present invention also provides methods of making these nanoparticles, e.g., by flash nanoprecipitation, with control over particle size and surface properties. The methods of the present invention provide a means for co-precipitating a water-insoluble compound with an amphiphilic stabilizer within a few milliseconds. The nanoparticles of the present invention exhibit high drug loading, e.g., 50% w/w, and can be produced with a mean particle size less than 200 nm and with a narrow particle size distribution.
