  • Publication number: 20140080676
Abstract: A treadle assembly having spring leafs for an exercise apparatus comprising a treadle and two metal spring leaves fitted to a treadle-connecting rod of an exercise apparatus. The treadle-connecting rod is provided with a recessed portion in which a pair of shaft tubes are fixed to the center of the recessed portion. The shaft tubes are fitted at both sides with a roller holder, respectively. Two rollers are longitudinally and rotatably connected to the roller holder. The treadle includes a pair of connecting ears near the shaft tubes such that the treadle and the treadle-connecting rod can be movably connected by a pivot, and one end of the metal spring leaves is secured to a fixing base within the connecting ears while the other (free) end thereof is inserted between two rollers such that the metal spring leaves are movable between two rollers when the treadle is subject to an external force.

  • Patent number: 8668628
Abstract: An electric treadmill with a folding mechanism by use of two swivel pieces includes a handrail frame mounted at both sides of the front end of the base frame. A base frame swivel piece is pivotally positioned at both sides near the front part of the bottom of the base frame, respectively. A handrail frame swivel piece is pivotally disposed near the bottom of the handrail frames, respectively. A pull rod is pivotally interposed between the swivel pieces. A movable support with ground-touching rollers is pivotally coupled to a cross shaft of the base frame swivel pieces. Moreover, the movable support is constantly biased by a telescopic supporting element. In this way, an action bar of the telescopic supporting element pushes the movable support forward when the base frame is folded upwards. Meanwhile, the ground-touching rollers are constantly in contact with the ground. Accordingly, a stable folded-up position is achieved.

  • Publication number: 20140066261
Abstract: An swing handle arrangement for an exercise equipment wherein a pair of the drive rods driven by the pedal-connecting rods is employed such that the pivot shaft mounted on the front support conducts a synchronous swing. Moreover, two swing handles fitted with a mating toothed member are pivotably connected to the top of the drive rods. Thereafter, toothed members are secured to the front support and meshed with the mating toothed member of the swing handles. A waist-twisting movement of the upper body can be synchronically achieved when the operator holds on the swing handles to take exercise at his feet of the lower body.

  • Publication number: 20130274071
Abstract: A rotary type adjustable cushioning mechanism of a treadmill, comprising a cushioning unit being interposed the base frame and the running board such that an expected and proper cushioning effect is created after the running board is subject to a force. The cushioning unit consists of two regulating mechanisms and a resilient element. Each of the regulating mechanisms includes a scale displaying disc, an adjustment knob, a transmission gear set, a position-adjusting threaded bolt, an elastic cushioning element, a coupled compression lever, and a coupled bracket pivotably attached to the running board. The resilient element is pivotably connected between both of the coupled brackets. When the adjustment knob is turned, the elastic cushioning element can move up and down on the position-adjusting threaded bolt, thereby changing the compression force between the elastic cushioning element and the coupled compression lever.

  • Publication number: 20130172151
Abstract: Electronic meter for an exercise apparatus wherein the body mass index (BMI) and the standard heart rate parameter list are stored in a microprocessor of the electronic meter. After the user inputs his personal basic data (such as height, weight, gender, age, etc.), the microprocessor will determine the weight difference for the user. According to this result, an optimal exercise session suitable for the user will be automatically determined and executed. The “exercise speed” can be changed before the microprocessor conducts the exercise session. Under the condition that the best calorie consumption value preset by the program for a specific user stays unchanged, the user may change the exercise speed according to his own physical strength. At that time, the microprocessor will re-determine the resistance level and the total operation duration of the exercise apparatus. In this way, the operational and recording process can be done.

  • Patent number: 8383968
Abstract: A lever switch for safe breaking of a circuit of an exercise apparatus includes two conductive copper pieces spaced apart and stably received within a housing by means of elastic pieces. A rotatable cylinder with two journals is positioned in the area of the contact portions of the conductive copper pieces within the housing. Moreover, a rectangular piece is provided at one side of the rotatable cylinder such that the contact portions of the conductive copper pieces are just clampable to the top and bottom ends of the rectangular piece. In addition, the middle portion of the conductive copper pieces is inwardly bent to form corresponding conductive contact surfaces. As a result, an insertion lever may fit into the body of the rotatable cylinder for in-place-moving the rotatable cylinder such that the rectangular piece is turned to bring the conductive contact surfaces of the conductive copper pieces in an electric disconnection or connection state for safe breaking and making of a circuit.

  • Publication number: 20120129654
Abstract: An electric cushioning mechanism of a treadmill having a cushioning rod assembly positioned at the rear end of the front support frame. The cushioning rod assembly is coupled to an electric cushioning mechanism. The electric cushioning mechanism includes a linking support, a cushioning drive motor, a slide element, and a slope guide plate. The linking support is provided with a roller at the bottom of both sides thereof, respectively. The cushioning drive motor has a guide screw rod. A pushing slope is formed at the bottom of both sides of the slide element. The pushing slope pushes against the slope guide plate.
