    Abstract: A system and method are provided for indicating an existence of a link to information pertaining to an article of commerce. The present disclosure provides for downloading a look-up table from a server database to a mobile device via a communication network. The look-up table is configured to store a plurality of UPC numbers associated with a plurality of articles of commerce and a plurality of information link indicators. Each information link indicator is associated with a respective UPC number and article of commerce and indicates the existence of a link via the communication network to information pertaining to the respective article of commerce. The mobile device allows a consumer to immediately determine if product information is available for a particular article of commerce, via a visual or audible indication on the mobile device.

The method comprises detecting a second device present in proximity of a first device, for establishing a connection. The connection may be established while the first device enters in a camera mode. Immediately after the first device captured an image, the first device may receive identity information of individuals from the second device. The identity information of individuals may comprise at least one of images and personal details of the individuals. Based on the received identity information, the first device may identify the individuals present in the image. The identified individuals present in the image may be tagged using their corresponding identities. Such tagging information may be stored in metadata of the image for a later usage.

In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, multiple different imaging systems can be placed individually at different locations along a route of travel, such as a highway, byway or waterway. Images of different vehicles can be captured at each of the locations and different ones of the different vehicles can be image-recognized. A time of travel between pairs of the locations can be determined for selected ones of the different vehicles in order to compute a rate of travel for the selected ones of the different vehicles. A citation signal is generated when a speed of a vehicle exceeds a predetermined speed limit such that the vehicle owner may be automatically cited for speeding.

The battery unit may further comprise a controller connected to the battery unit. The controller may monitor charge levels of each micro-battery and may switch usage of micro-batteries in the battery unit based on the charge levels. A next micro-battery in the battery unit may be used while charge of a currently used micro-battery goes below a threshold value.
