Abstract: A system and method for distributing at least one digital photographic image is presented, the system and method comprising at least one capturing device and at least one receiving device disposed in a communicative relation with one another via at least one wireless network. In particular, the capturing device is structured to capture the at least one digital photographic image via, for example, a capture assembly, whereas the receiving device is cooperatively structured to receive the digital photographic image via, for example, the at least one wireless network. In addition, the capturing device(s) and receiving device(s) may be disposed in a selectively paired relationship via one or more common pre-defined pairing criteria. Abstract: Systems and methods for reducing the emission of radiation by wireless headsets during sleep mode are provided. One system comprises a mobile device and a wireless headset. The mobile device includes a transmission module for transmitting data or voice signals over a microwave frequency band. The wireless headset comprises a transceiver that enables the wireless headset to wirelessly communicate with the mobile device during a time when the mobile device and wireless headset are linked within a personal area network (PAN). The wireless headset is configured to receive instructions from the mobile device to enter a sleep mode, wherein the transceiver is turned off during the sleep mode.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for indicating an existence of a link to information pertaining to an article of commerce. The present disclosure provides for downloading a look-up table from a server database to a mobile device via a communication network. The look-up table is configured to store a plurality of UPC numbers associated with a plurality of articles of commerce and a plurality of information link indicators. Each information link indicator is associated with a respective UPC number and article of commerce and indicates the existence of a link via the communication network to information pertaining to the respective article of commerce. The mobile device allows a consumer to immediately determine if product information is available for a particular article of commerce, via a visual or audible indication on the mobile device, without access to the communication network.

Abstract: A device, system and method for controlling speed of a vehicle are provided. The device includes a locational information module for determining location information and speed; a storage module for storing at least one geographic map including at least one route and a speed limit for the at least one route; a processing module configured to receive the location information, retrieve at least one geographic map based on the location information, determine a speed limit based on the location information and compare the speed of the device to the determined speed limit; and a display module for alerting a user if the speed of the device exceeds the determined speed limit. The system and method can be for communicating a subject vehicle's speed to a central server where it can be utilized to analyze traffic congestion patterns or notify selected companies or individuals.

The headphone device comprises one or more auxiliary sound emitters present either adjacent to the extreme ends of the headphone band or on an upper section of the right side sound emitter and the left side sound emitter. The one or more auxiliary sound emitters are directed towards ears of the user. The headphone device further comprises a wireless control circuit for receiving audio data wirelessly from an audio device. The headphone device comprises a power source for powering the wireless control circuit, the right side sound emitter, the left side sound emitter, and the one or more auxiliary sound emitters.

An identity of each of the multiple different substances is determined based upon the at least one external characteristic from the acquired imagery. Drug interaction data is retrieved for each of the multiple different substances using the determined identities. Drug interaction data for at least one of the multiple different substances is correlated with at least one other of the multiple different substances. At least one generic substance and/or cost information of at least one of the multiple different substances is identified. The correlated drug interaction data, the at least one generic substance, and/or the cost information are displayed.

A gene sequence is separated from the Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) of the first male. A recombinant Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) is generated by inserting and attaching the gene sequence of the first male into a Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) of a living cell of a second male. The recombinant Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) is programmed to create Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). The Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) are converted into at least one recombinant sperm cell comprising combined genetic material of the first male and the second male.

A medication monitoring device according to one implementation includes a container configured to store a plurality of medication pills and a gating device connected at an opening of the container. The gating device is configured to electronically monitor the release of at least one of the medication pills. A system and method for monitoring the administration of medication to a patient are also provided. The system, according to one embodiment, comprises the medication monitoring device and a medication management server in communication with the medication monitoring device via a communication network.

The flashlight includes a body having a first end and a second end, the first end including an illumination source and the second end including an opening for accessing an interior of the body; at least one battery disposed in the body via the opening in the second end, the at least one battery coupled to and configured for powering the illumination source; and a controller disposed in the body configured to determine if the body is in motion, wherein if the body is not in motion for a predetermined period of time, the controller decouples the at least one battery from the illumination source to conserve energy in the at least one battery. Optionally, the flashlight may include a visual or audible indicator to alert a user that the flashlight will shutdown.
