  • Publication number: 20220037036
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for contact tracing in a shared workspace. One of the methods include: receiving an indication that a user of a plurality of users has symptoms associated with a contagious infection; identifying exposed users of the plurality of users that were in a contagious proximity to the user during a preceding period and sending a notification to each of the exposed users to inform of contact with the user. Systems and methods are also disclosed for obtaining completion of a contagion control procedure, the methods being performed in connection with a workstation. One of the methods include: transmitting control signals that instruct one or more workstation actuators to move a workstation tabletop to an uncomfortable height; detecting presence of a user at the workstation; and in response to determining that the user has not completed the contagion control procedure, maintaining the tabletop in the uncomfortable height.

  • Patent number: 11185238
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for moving a tabletop of a workstation based on biometric input associated with a user, the method being performed by a controller that is configured to send control signals to actuators to move the tabletop. One method includes: accessing a user profile associated with a user device; determining parameters for moving the tabletop, based on the user profile, for eliciting desired biometric inputs from the workstation user at one or more times during the movement of the tabletop; and repeating one or more iterations of: moving the tabletop based on the parameters, by sending control signals to the actuators of the tabletop; receiving, into a data storage device, actual biometric inputs from the workstation user; comparing the received actual biometric inputs with the desired biometric inputs; and if the parameters do not elicit the desired biometric inputs, adjusting the parameters.

  • Publication number: 20210356952
Abstract: A portable diagnostic tool includes a processor. A data port and memory are each communicatively coupled to the processor. The memory stores a plurality of computer readable instruction sets associated with different drive controller models. Each instruction set is associated with a plurality of resolution protocols. Each resolution protocol is associated with one or more commands. While the data port of the diagnostic tool is connected to a drive controller data port, the processor is configured to (i) receive an error signal from the drive controller, (ii) identify one of the plurality of instruction sets corresponding to the drive controller model that matches the drive controller, (iii) select one of the plurality of resolution protocols based on the instruction set and the error signal, and (iv) transmit, to the drive controller, the one or more commands of the selected resolution protocol instructing the drive controller to automate that resolution protocol.

  • Publication number: 20200146440
Abstract: A workstation controller includes a processor. A memory, a first drive control output, a first current sensor, and one or more user operable controls are each communicatively coupled to the processor. When the workstation controller is communicatively connected to a first drive controller that operates at least a first workstation actuator, the processor is configured to (i) receive, from the first current sensor, a first current reading of electrical current flowing from the first drive controller to the first workstation actuator, and (ii) in response to the processor determining that the first current reading exceeds a predetermined current threshold associated with obstructive interference, transmit to the first drive controller, by way of the drive control output, one or more commands to operate the first workstation actuator to perform a safety protocol stored in the memory.

  • Patent number: 10548395
Abstract: A workstation is disclosed including a tabletop, a frame, a support coupled to the tabletop and the frame for supporting the tabletop vertically above the frame, and a powered rotator coupled to the frame. The powered rotator may be configured to move the support and the tabletop horizontally along an arcuate path with respect to a user position. The user position and a center of curvature of the arcuate path may each be disposed away from a forward edge of the tabletop. A method of moving a tabletop of a workstation is also disclosed.
