Abstract: The system comprises a loudspeaker simulation unit for simulating the transmission behavior of the loudspeaker and comprises a room simulation unit, which is connected in outgoing circuit to the loudspeaker simulation unit and which is provided for simulating the transmission behavior of a given monitoring room. The room simulation unit is followed by a presentation unit, which generates an acoustic signal that corresponds to the auditory impression of the loudspeaker in the monitoring room, and/or is followed by an evaluation unit that evaluates the signal, which is provided by the room simulation unit, with regard to at least one psychoacoustic measured quantity, and the evaluation unit outputs a corresponding measurement signal. This measurement signal corresponds to a measurement signal that occurs inside the monitoring room during the presentation of the input signals.
