  • Publication number: 20160042890
Abstract: A key structure includes a switch circuit, an elastic member and a press unit. The switch circuit includes a predetermined press area. The elastic member is disposed on the predetermined press area of the switch circuit. The press unit is disposed on the elastic member and includes a flexible membrane and a plate. A part of the flexible membrane forms a press zone corresponding to the plate, wherein a position of the press zone is corresponding to a position of the elastic member, and the plate is fixed with the press zone. As one corner of the press zone is pressed, a corner of the plate moves downward accordingly while an opposite corner of the plate is limited by the flexible membrane from moving upward, such that the whole plate and the whole press zone move downward together to press the elastic member uniformly and trigger the switch circuit.

  • Publication number: 20150279591
Abstract: A key structure includes a switch circuit, a frame layer, a deformable elastic element and a pressing unit. The switch circuit has a predetermined pressing region. The frame layer is disposed on the switch circuit, and the frame layer has a receiving space. The deformable elastic element is disposed on the switch circuit and received in the receiving space of the frame layer. The pressing unit includes a key body contacting the deformable elastic element. The deformable elastic element is disposed between the switch circuit and the key body, and the contact area between the deformable elastic element and the switch circuit is smaller than the contact area between the deformable elastic element and the key body. Whereby, when a predetermined pressure is pressed upon the pressing unit, the predetermined pressure is balancedly pressed on the predetermined pressing region of the switch circuit through the deformable elastic element.

  • Patent number: 7564967
Abstract: An electronic device with two-dimensional sliding cover and a two-dimensional slide apparatus are disclosed. The two-dimensional slide apparatus includes a first member, a second member, a third member and a first torque-retaining assembly. The second member is movable along a first direction in relation to the first member. The third member is movable between a first position and a second position along a second direction in relation to the second member, with a first central position therebetween. The first torque-retaining assembly is disposed between the second member and the third member. When the third member moves from the first position or the second position to the first central position by an external force, the first torque-retaining assembly generates torque, driving the third member from the first central position to the first position or the second position.

  • Patent number: 7392071
Abstract: A rotary module comprises: a digital camera module (DCM) electrically connected to a main body of an electronic product; a hinge assembly connected to a holding device (HD) and the main body, so as to allow relative rotation between the main body and the flip cover; a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB); and the HD to hold the DCM, and provide a wiring space for winding the FPCB and a hollow sleeve for receiving the hinge assembly. One end of the FPCB is connected to the DCM, and the rest extends along the flat surface of the HD, then winds around the wiring space, and finally connects to a PCB of either the main body or the flip cover. The rotary module could be disposed in an axial sleeve of flip-type cellular phone. When the flip cover is rotated, the HD and the DCM simultaneously rotate with the flip cover.

  • Publication number: 20070238494
Abstract: A portable electronic device including a first casing, a second casing and a carrier is provided. The first casing has a first surface having a guide slot and a slide slot. The guide slot has a first wide opening, a narrow opening and a second wide opening. The narrow opening is positioned between the first and the second wide openings. The second casing has a second surface. The carrier has an elastomer whose two ends are coupled to two opposite walls of the guide slot. When the elastomer is moved from the first or the second wide opening to the narrow opening, the elastomer is compressed to generate a compressed elastic force. When the elastomer partly passes the narrow opening, the elastomer releases the compressed elastic force and moves towards the first or the second wide opening so that the first casing slides with respect to the second casing.

  • Patent number: 7203532
Abstract: A hinge mechanism includes a shaft, a cam, a spring and a sliding member. The shaft has a first end and a second end and the cam is movably disposed at the first end and has an inclined plane facing the second end. Also, the spring is disposed at the second end, and the sliding member is disposed on the shaft and is coupled with the spring. The sliding member moves along the shaft due to the elasticity of the spring. In addition, the sliding member has a contact capable of reaching the inclined plane, wherein the cam on which a force is imposed moves toward the second end so that an elastic potential energy is stored as a result of elastic deformation of the spring and the contact of the sliding member presses the inclined plane to rotate the cam by the spring's resilience.
