Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture to manage heat in a CPU are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a metric collection agent to output a metric representative of a property of the central processor unit including a first core and a second physical core, the first physical core and the second physical core mapped to first and second logical cores by a map. A policy processor is to evaluate the first metric to determine whether to change the map to remap at least one of the first and second logical cores relative to the second one of the first and the second physical cores to move a process between the first and second physical cores to adjust the property, the moving of the process between the physical cores being transparent to an application/OS layer. A mapping controller is responsive to the policy processor to change the map.

Abstract: A system for creating a work of art that commemorates a significant life event may include an art kit having a plurality of design elements and a mounting board to which the design elements are affixed to create an art scene. The art kit may further include special note tags for event attendees to write sentiments about a celebrated guest. The special note tags may then be secured to the mounting board to cover portions of the art scene and thereby complete the work of art.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for recording and displaying genelogical or pedigree information on humans or animals are provided, wherein data on individuals is recorded on a plurality of interconnectable discrete patterns imprinted on transparent, self-adhesive material, the appropriate pattern being selected on the basis of the individual's gender, marital status, and status as a direct or collateral descendant, and then completed patterns are arranged on a display means to illustrate familial or blood-line relationships.
