    Abstract: A base station and a non-real time data transmission method thereof are provided. The base station connects to a mobile apparatus via a network, and exchanges data with the mobile apparatus during a data transmission interval. The base station records a sleep cycle interval which comprises a sleep interval and a listening interval. The base station determines a sleep ratio relation, a transmission efficiency relation and a packet delay relation according to the sleep interval, listening interval and data transmission interval. The base station determines a sleep interval value based on the sleep ratio relation, transmission efficiency relation and packet delay relation so that the base station exchanges the non-real time data with the mobile apparatus, while saving energy and transmitting data efficiently.

    Abstract: A communication apparatus, a method, and a computer readable medium for adjusting the number of communication identifications (CID) are provided. The communication apparatus comprises a database, a quality of service (QoS) scheduler, and a CID adjustment engine. The database stores first service information and second service information which respectively comprise a corresponding CID. The QoS scheduler determines whether an operating load thereof reaches to a threshold value. If yes, the CID adjustment engine unifies the CIDs of the first service information and the second service information. The QoS scheduler schedules the first service information and the second service information in response to the unified CID.

    Abstract: A process for the preparation of highly pure 1-(mercaptomethyl)-cyclopropaneacetic acid is described. Treatment of 1-(hydroxymethyl)-cyclopropaneacetonitrile with an acid provides the corresponding imino ester and/or halo-amide, which when reacted with thiourea provide the corresponding amide-isothiuronium salt. Hydrolysis of the amide-isothiuronium salt followed by an in situ oxidation allows the facile isolation and purification of 1-[1 -(carboxymethyl)-cyclopropanemethyldisulfanylmethyl]-cyclopropaneacetic acid (also known as 1-(mercaptomethyl)-cyclopropaneacetic acid disulfide). Reduction of the 1-(mercaptomethyl)-cyclopropaneacetic acid disulfide under mild conditions provides the 1-(mercaptomethyl)-cyclopropaneacetic acid with high purity.

    Abstract: Chloromethylpyridine hydrochlorides such as 3-chloromethylpyridine hydrochloride, an important pharmaceutical intermediate, are prepared in high yield and high purity by reacting the corresponding pyridyl carbinol with a slight excess of thionyl chloride, in solution in an inert solvent such as toluene. The pyridyl carbinol solution is added to the thionyl chloride gradually and under its surface, to prevent the formation of impurities. The product is recovered by applying vacuum or nitrogen purge to the reaction mixture to assist precipitation, followed by filtration and washing.

Secondly, the method performs a predetermined pattern write-read access test to the corresponding (M+N)-bit cell for each frame to determine if the (M+N)-bit of cell is defective. Thirdly, the method stores a first value of the index into the corresponding M-bit of cell for each frame, if the (M+N)-bit cell is good. Fourthly, the method stores a second value of the index into the corresponding M-bit of cell, if the (M+N)-bit cell is defective.
